I’m Canadian. :/

We wouldn’t be having so much trouble with ignorant fucks thinking those fake Planned Parenthood videos are somehow real if education weren’t so severely gimped.

with no more than a high school education increased by 134 deaths per 100,000 people from 1999 to 2014.

We can hope that more research will result in the means to combat this unfortunate trend.

I recommend the Paperwhite. I upgraded from the keyboard this past summer. The light on the screen is terriffic, way better than a tablet for night-time reading. The screen itself is so much better that I actually find myself reading for longer periods of time.

My saved recipe links and silly posts from my FB fangroups don’t represent my privacy and dignity. Nor do his sports comments and “You Know You’re From” memes. It’s not something we argue or even really discuss, and most of the time we don’t bother looking. But we both know we are welcome to if we want.

There’s a difference between privacy and secrecy. There are things i prefer to do in private, but there’s nothing I do that my husband doesn’t know about. See the difference?

I’ve got to say. If my husband cheated on me and then refused to allow me access to his phone/email/facebook, I would be immediately suspicious. Hell, I’ve never cheated on him and I still gave him access to that stuff. What do I care if he sees emails from my friends and texts from my mom?

This is pretty messed up, there are other ways to save a marriage than by cheating. I feel sorry for your husband, it seems like you had to shut him up even though you did a terrible thing and made him deal with it.

Bob Ross. He sadly passed many years ago, but you can still watch The Joy of Painting. And you can always trust Bob Ross and his happy trees.

So, they were _fired_, but never ever _prosecuted_?

Can someone just tell me ONE person/place/thing that I can truly trust? Because my cat is getting old and I’m not sure who I’m going to turn to after that.

Reducing the desire for a public, legal and sometimes religious marriage to a party and a piece of jewelry is profoundly demeaning to the values and priorities of people who aren’t you.

If someone didn’t want to get married, would you tell them they just weren’t very committed to their partner if they’d leave rather than get married? Marriage is legitimately that important to some people for legal, emotional, and sometimes religious/cultural reasons. Having it be a deal breaker does not mean you are

“Pleasing” these people, in this case, means laying out policy. Hillary has yet to get specific about a racial justice platform and that is what they are pushing for. This shit actually works.

because the republicans are a lost cause at this point.

There’s “ultimatum” and then there’s figuring out if both of you are on the same page. I don’t fault any woman for asking if their futures line up. Why should any woman who is looking to get married waste her time on a relationship where the man thought was temporary?

It isn’t just a ring and a party. That’s only the wedding, and not everyone wants much of a wedding anyway.

I do believe in what might be called a “qualified ultimatum”, probably in line with what you refer to as a frank discussion but with consequences being clearly stated. I also feel though, that they should be used sparingly and you MUST be prepared to leave. There are probably only a handful of situations where they

Uh. I can assure you that being someone’s fiancé doesn’t grant you the ability to make medical decisions for the person. Fuck, I couldn’t even get Comcast to talk to me when my husband and I were engaged. You have no legal rights as a “fiancé"
