To me Rose is the Lando of the team, not quite part of the core group, but working actively alongside them once she joins them. Sometimes doing their own thing. She should’ve been there, or at least have SOMETHING to do. If it was so much about giving Leia someone to be with... why the heck did Dominic Monaghan

Besides the whole “Planning out your story before you film it” thing, the other thing the show does that ‘Rise of Skywalker’ should have taken to heart is that “Less is More”.

Oh, one more complaint - there’s no WAY none of those characters would not have heard of the Jedi. Come on...that is unjustifiable.

This was another “okay, but not great” episode, which is par for the course for this “okay, but not great (at best) series.”

People in Star Wars are hilariously open to throwing their children to fate.

“trust students not to blow their own money by skipping class”

It’s like a lot of the low-carb, high-fat diets. You lose a lot of weight quickly at first (30-40 pounds), but then the loss starts to flatten out and the diet is very difficult to stick to because of its strictness (not just only 5% of your calories coming from carbs, but only 20% from protein - it really is a mostly

My mom had throat cancer several years ago (she made it through and has been cancer free ever since) and my dad’s best friend and his ditzy wife started telling her to treat it with vitamins and supplements.

I’m sorry to hear about your dad. People giving unsolicited medical advice can go talk a long walk off a short pier.

Agreed! Keto and paleo converts are some of the preachiest folks I’ve encountered (followed closely by vegans). I had a chiropractor tell me he could fix chronic lung issues with spinal adjustments and a strict paleo diet. I told him to fuck off with that dangerous nonsense.

There are many folks in my circles that have gone deep into many of these fad diets. The first wave was definitely the crossfitters that bought in 110% and in addition to morning and night WOD sessions, they went strictly paleo. Keto is sort of a kissing cousin of paleo, though it can be warped to be insanely

Is keto really a wellness diet or a weight loss at all costs diet? I don’t think there’s even a detox pretense here.

Please yes! The few people I know who do keto are the preachiest people I’ve ever known (and I’m a vegetarian-of the non preach variety).

If I had to make a guess as to when the show would be returning, I would say late-April or May. That’s when all the baby Yoda merch is coming out.

They were Jason Sudeikis and Adam Pally. Guessing you mean Sudeikis.

Stormtroopers hit Baby Yoda?!!?

I mean, the PR is bad, and it certainly isn’t a good look, but they really do need to pay it back. This isn’t monopoly, you don’t get gifts in your favor.

Also, I think a major theme of SW as a whole is “don’t fuck with women from Alderaan.”

I’m betting Season Two ends with them arriving at Yoda/Baby Yoda’s home planet, but it turns out the species was found and exterminated by Palpatine decades ago and Baby Yoda is the last one.

People, this is a trust fund. What you are owed is mandated by law. If someone is paid erroneously, they must return the funds to the trust. It’s called fiduciary duty. If you get extra, that means it has to come from someone else. Try paying benefits to a million people and NOT have an error. Not unusual to have to
