These kids from Cheer have pulled themselves out of horrible situations but they’re not role models. They’re great cheerleaders but they’re attending a JuCo in the middle of nowhere Tx because they weren’t with it enough to cheer at one of the top four year colleges.

It’s ok for the boys to espouse their homophobia and for Lexi to be arrested and Gabi to promote disordered eating but it’s no ok for the black girl to be aggressive.

They do a DV questionnaire at every pre-natal appointment and when you are in the hospital because you are more likely to be murdered during pregnancy than any other time in your life.

I’ve always been under the impression that if it’s picking up poppy seeds the test is much too sensitive because it takes a shit ton of poppy seeds to test positive on a drug test.

I’m guessing that it’s needed because of the medical procedures they are doing. I’d expect that it’s necessary when doing anesthesia or giving specific drugs so that they don’t injure the patient.

The issue here I’m guessing is the levels that they are testing and that they’re treating a very low amount as positive.

There are enough, but they don’t live in the right places. If we were to move a quarter million progressives to Montanna and Wyoming then it wouldn’t be a problem anymore.  We have a major rural/urban divide in this country.

It’s more the trauma that comes from pregnant being far more worse than the options.  IUD’s are an easy compromise and are as effective as sterilization.  

I think the money also gave them the reason to do it.  Being able to show how she could be financially exploited.

It’s not even about having the child as the child could be given up for adoption.  It’s a disabled person having to go through a pregnancy they don’t understand and then have the baby taken away.

There are many cases where it’s the kind thing to do. It’s just not the same when we’re talking about severely disabled people. Those who will never have the life skills to live on their own. They may want to explore their sexuality with a peer and don’t have the ability to handle birth control and they unfortunately…

I think that this pardoning of past government victims is offensive.  The arrests and injustices and convictions are important.  It’s important that they are learned from.  Statues and monuments are great but keep those convictions on record.

There’s a peacock animated series (supernatural academy) which all the press releases said was based on a popular YA series.  I found the book and downloaded it, it’s a kindle unlimited New Adult series (so YA but a little older and with sex) and the only thing the two had in common was the name of the school.

Instagram refuses to help. They basically encourage this with their inaction and how easy they make it to change a password and then immediately change the email address ect. . .

Instagram encourages this type of thing by making it basically impossible to recover a hijacked account.  My teenager lost her account a couple years ago and instagram basically told her to bad so sad.  She got her username back but she lost all her photos and followers.

That one is shocking so much so I’m suprised they didn’t cut it.

I always brought that stuff up even if it’s just a throw away comment about how racist that was just so my daughter knows that it’s not normal.
