You can't pay money to buy cards unless from a third party or physical booster packs. I've played it for a while and it's very easy to get cards. Hell, they start you out with 4 free decks and I think 6 boosters?

The odds are only 1/1000 in the friend safari.

I was hanging out with friends and one of their safaris had a skarmory which I was excited about. My other friend entered the safari and the first encounter was a shiny skarmory. Lets just say there were riots lol.
