This whole article seems an overly desperate stretch over and around the weird hollowness of the first Avatar movie and its lack of resonance in pop culture despite its box office success. Titanic gets referenced far more in pop culture than Avatar, and it came out 25 years ago. Toys and other Avatar merchandise

Your argument barely supports your premise.  Nobody’s denying the technical impact it had on filmmaking or the number of 3d TVs that it sold, but it definitely didn’t have the same kind of pop culture impact as Cameron’s previous movies.  Nobody’s quoting any of the blue people a decade later while ‘Game over man!’,

No, the Devil is in Ohio fiddling with Zooey’s sister.

Thank you! Chuck never let Jimmy forget that he thought he wasn’t a “real lawyer” and that everything good Jimmy had he owed to Chuck. He worked real hard to keep Jimmy in a position where that would always be true.

I think Chuck is a fascinating example of how basing your actions off the most rational endpoint in your personal logic can ironically bring out the worst in a person. No matter how justified your anger may be, sometimes it’s just easier to let go instead of influencing someone you don’t believe can change.

Turns out that she really IS that far up her own ass.

I remember when I almost got tossed from the site and created a huge brouhaha by suggesting the LD maybe wasn’t the generational voice TVDW thought she was. Good times.

Don’t knock it till you try it.

it’s 3 bucks, try it and see, it’s by far GOTY as far as value per dollar goes

You can with some weapons. Most of the time it’s unnecessary, though. Positioning is the whole game.

That is the point, its a super simple control scheme.  You can control where some things shoot and some items always shoot in the same direction.  But the random stuff is part of the fun and challenge.

Calling it a flash game is the perfect description. Addictinggames.com around 2003-2005 type of game. Excellent, simple, fun. No microtransaction BS. It’s so great.

I installed this in the computer I also use to work, and oh boy what a mistake that was.

I find this insulting on behalf of my dad, who fought in Nom.

That sound? It’s every Black actress rolling her eyes. Is there a creature any more frail than a rich white boy? Especially one where everybody but TWO people routinely kiss his ass?

Sounds like he’s massively oversensitive, has no sense of humor, or both.

What’s with all of the A-listers grousing the past year?I didn’t get this part I deserved; I didn’t get that award (someone else shouldn’t have got).” Is this a way to show yourself after a world crippling pandemic? Fuck off Bradley. I personally know a dozen people who shine and ripple with genius and talent, but

I mean, I genuinely don’t care, but he clearly wants people to feel bad for him by sharing that story lol

Bradley Cooper sucks. Watch the outakes on The Hangover and you can see just how bad of an actor he is (and I get that they are OUTAKES but you have to read between the lines.)

To be fair, it’s a legitimate question. A Star is Born was punishingly bad, and as producer/director/writer/lead actor it's all pretty much down to little Bradley Cooper and his titanic ego.
