It probably wasn’t important. But I’ve got a great idea about how women can help to impress us men in the workplace. They should repeat each other’s ideas and credit each other, so that we’re forced to listen to them and we can’t steal credit for their ideas.

Oh great...now men have to pretend to listen to women twice. Thanks a lot Obama.

Longtime lurker here, I created an account just to comment on this. I was a newspaper reporter in suburban Chicago. I wrote about this Chris Bollyn dude back in 1999 0r 2000, maybe a year or two later than that because he invited some guy who’d written a book in which he theorized that the Mossad was behind the

“Like a lot of people on the Left, I wrestle with the issue of balancing the necessity of engagement with self-care,” Marion Lipschutz, a grey-haired woman, older than most of the other demonstrators, told Jezebel. “Instead of my usual, Wednesday night yoga class, I took an earlier class instead, because I felt it

This isn’t a regular news broadcast, it’s a special social-media focused feature show where that sort of casual irreverence is encouraged. Here’s a story on it. Note the photo.

rumors of news anchors wearing ratty jeans behind the desk have been around for decades.

Guys come on! It’s true.

This doesn’t surprise me at all. The Great British Bake Off is somehow the best show on TV. And I’m being serious.

Sure, it has some effect. But female bodies produce varying amount of testosterone naturally. Caster isn’t taking anything to help her perform better, which is what other female athletes would be doing. Some people are just better at sports than other people, even when the only population you’re controlling for is

Yeah, no. Nature gives certain people advantages in certain tasks. I could have trained from birth and I’d still never be as fast as Sharp, let alone Semenya. Sometimes life is unfair. I feel for Sharp, and for all athletes who get to that level and realize they still can’t be the best, but that’s how competition

I’m not sure what you mean. Presumably the two necessary parties here would be (1) the prosecutor and (2) Constand (and her lawyer).

Yup. I held an H1-B and when I heard that I was like “Uh, that’s not how you ‘follow the rules / follow the law’ ”.

It’s pretty obvious at this point that marriage #4 will be directly after Trump’s loss in November. He’ll blame the whole thing on Melania and leave her for a newer model.

Yea I work at an ad agency with a similar problem of women in creative leadership and that statement is straight bullshit.

I work in advertising and ER’BODY been talking about this this week. In a sense, I appreciate that he was dumb enough to say to a widely read publication the things that men in this industry usually say behind closed doors.

“We have a bunch of talented, creative females, but they reach a certain point in their careers ...”

That always made me yell at my screen: “If you can’t design clothes for bodies, maybe you should design greeting cards instead! Why the fuck did you choose a medium in which you would be dressing bodies if you want to do everything in your power to limit the interaction between your clothing and a human body?!”

This reminds me of the “real women” episodes of Project Runway that always led to the designers acting like monsters and a model (usually a friend or family member of another contestant) crying. I mean, you really must lack in skill and creativity if it is beyond your ability to create a dress for someone above a size

Aren’t...aren’t they making her argument for her?
