Dammit, Chris!

I love the old glamourous starlet vibe. This is probably in my top three looks of the night. THAT HAIR. And that dress is super gorgeous.

I saw in the forcast that we were supposed to get snow/wintry mix on Sunday/Monday in Indiana this week and I wanted to cry. I'm so tired of all the snow and cold.

I took the day off from work, scheduled a 2-hour massage, a hair appointment, and had mani-pedi. Tonight I'm topping it off with a steak and a viewing of my very favorite movie: Ghostbusters.

This is so key for me.

My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer less than two weeks after I graduated college. She had eight rounds of chemo and two months of radiation, along with a mastectomy. The reality of the disease is so much more grim than some lame-ass "BOOBIES" campaign and pink-everything merchandise.

"Devil's Tic Tacs" is one of the best names for BC I've heard. Rolls off the tongue a lot easier than my current fave, "Fetus Not Welcome" pills.

I want to be Dame Helen Mirren when I grow up. She's so beautiful and flawless.

Another winner! I used Texas style bread and it held up really well. The butter on top was A+, since I usually reserve butter at breakfast time for toast, waffles, or pancakes.

I started at my gym in July and springing for a personal trainer has been life changing. I've learned so much about healthy behaviors and how to get the most out of a workout. He introduced me to boxing, which I'm starting to love more than Zumba. It's also great that the other trainers around will give you

Thank you so much. This is amazingly delicious. First the best scrambled eggs ever and now this. I'm going to have to look through the archive and see what else I've been missing out on.

The one with puppy whose howls make it slide back on the floor filled me with so much joy I can't even.

It takes some getting used to in theatre.

One of the best aspects of my college science classes was that the professor taught us the Greek and latin roots to many of the words we'd be using (or not, he was a wild card that way!) that chapter and then tested us on them. It was hella useful and still is.

I write in a hybrid of print and cursive, too. My stand-alone printing is passable, but my stand-alone cursive is attrocious. My hybrid writing is very presentable.

Daniel Kim's Pop Danthologies are always worth multiple listens. It's incredible the way he puts it all together.

I love the Pop Danthologies. They're so much fun to listen to, and give me great cases of "What? that song is THAT OLD?"

Steven R. McQueen is such a hottie. Thankfully we're the same age, because if he was younger I'd feel like such a dirty old woman.

I'm amazed my brother and I turned out to be as great bakers and cooks as we are. My mother HATED having my brother and I in the kitchen while she was cooking. Her refrain was "Go find something to do; you're making me nervous." She hates cooking now, so she's pretty grateful I found ways to teach myself. I can't

When we brought my brother's puppy home (raised him until my brother was out of the military) the first thing he did in the yard was start chewing on the metal legs of the glider. That's when I knew this little puppy was precious.
