This makes me sad, knowing that my 07 Camry hybrid just crapped its pants when the water pump failed and the car overheated, blowing the head gasket and cooking the traction motor.  194,000 miles was too short a life, I hardly knew ye.

Lots of small coastal communities down here in FL would be filled with these things if they had an automatic and removable top. SXS’s are too insect-like, Jeeps are too brutish, golf carts are too underpowered, whereas these are cute and nimble and would be perfect for bringing your kayaks down to the private boat

What elected official, state or federal, threatened to behead TFG? I recall a b-list comedian holding a bloody papier’ mache trump head for a photo op, but that’s not comparable to an actual sitting congressperson unless you are sayin celebrities hold the same political sway as actual politicians.

Spent six figures on a monster engine swap but couldn’t be bothered to hit the rusted throttle cable bracket with a $4 can of flat black spray paint? Details matter at this price point.

Where have I seen this look before?  Oh yeah, the 80's Ron & Nancy

This is sadly the right take. This would be a great deal at around $3-4k, but this is too much money for this little thing. Saying the engine runs does not say it runs well or is really drivable. Would I love to have it? Absolutely. I can’t blame the current owner for hoping he’ll find the right fool with the right

I guess re-reading the article here (not the linked one, though) it mentions salaries several times so I am assuming that implies ONLY direct salary for racing work, not ownership rights and merch and branding and appearance fees.

So is this including sponsorships, branded merchandise (specific to the athlete not the team) as well as any ownership of any secondary teams? For that I’m surprised Valentino Rossi isn’t on at least the top 25 as he’s rumored with all those factors to be well north of $500-750M.

Absolutely this was my first thought when I saw this a few days ago. More and more municipalities are building skate parks and every one that I have around me is generally pretty busy, so don’t take it upon yourself to tear up the surfaces and rails with your douchey stunt-wannabe riding. Same with people that take

If you’re rocking a mid-80's class C, you should be rolling on a dually rear end so make that 6 sets of chains just for the fun of it.

Seconded, my 00 Outback was rock steady in driving rainstorms down here in FL (obvs not much traditional winter weather) compared to our Avalon which wallowed and slid occasionally.

I would absolutely buy this, prep it with new rubber bits as necessary and ride it to hell and back. Why else was it built if not for that? Its a machine, not a piece of art, stop glorifying things like this.

Why aren’t they building it? Because Toyota doesn’t want to put a warranty on it. Toyota didn’t build these to begin with, RV coach-builders did. Should a coach-builder pick up on this idea and build it? Certainly if there are appropriate upgrades to the chassis and gearing and brakes to accommodate the additional

Would you believe me if I said it also had the QUAD4 engine?

Honestly I would love for someone to start building parts for 80's Peugeots like the 504 & 505. So many of those went to junkyards for lack of small consumable parts when their Gallic masters went back across the Atlantic and they are simply fantastic cars that didn’t deserve to fade away.

Remember when NFTs were all the rage? Man 2020 was wild. Seriously this is the main thing I kept telling people, an NFT is only worth anything once. A person creates it and somehow finds someone to pay an exorbitant price for it. Then when other people see that “Holy crap someone paid a 7-figure sum of money for Man

Nostalgia is a hell of a drug, but I had a buddy with a Pontiac Sunfire of this vintage and the one spring break road trip we took in it prevents me from considering this as a good car in any regard.  Crack Pipe or No Dice or whatever.  Don’t buy this.

I am far too broke/in debt to afford to replace either my 07 Camry nor 08 4-Runner, and while reading this article for a moment I felt pretty damn good about my financial situation.

Thank you, I thought I missed something.

Aw man, now I have to take back my vote for the 3800 in the most indestructible cars slideshow
