I do love me an unconventional but at the same time well-loved engine config, and the Slant-6 is a legend so I can’t fault this choice.

I’ve said it before on here but the development of the 1994 Dodge Ram pickup series from the previous generation spanning back to the 70's was ground-breaking. That design shifted the public perception of pickup trucks and all the major automakers followed suit within 2 years.

I tend to agree with assessments of the Glad that is has awkward proportions/lines in its stock form, but my wife is a bigger Jeep fan than I am and she is starting to push lately towards dumping my 12yo 4-Runner in favor of one and I can’t say that I am completely against the idea.

I have so far only seen the 4D versions in addition to the Sports and I am like you they don’t exactly blow my skirt up. Maybe the 2D version will look better but I’ve been keeping my eye out and haven’t seen one. Yet.

I wanted to hate this when I saw the title, then I began to love it as I read through the listing, then I got to the price and realized I hated it again. Appears to be incredibly well done and well-modified, but not for $15 large.
