How long would they realistically keep the XL platform around if it wasn’t capable of being sold in the EU nor anywhere else requiring Euro5 compliance, though? I realize that we are talking about HD here but even “for the sake of nostalgia” doesn’t seem like it would justify such a market-limited product line. This

Not immediately, but as neutered as the Sportster has become over the years, not just in comparison to its competition but in comparison to itself its unlikely that it would stand a chance against a comparably sized bike with far better performance sitting next to it on the same showroom floor, even if the Revo

Considering the absurd level of badge-engineering that was going on between Chrysler, Mitsubishi and Eagle (RIP dawg) back in the 80's, I can’t just let you walk away with “Most Ridiculous” here. Hell my Dodge Raider was so much Mitsubishi that it even had a Mitsubishi key.

Urban myth, at least me and my buddy Ben Shapiro have never been able to find one.

I’m a dyed-in-the-wool Sportster fan and currently own a 1980 as well as a 1972 Aermacchi but I also own a pair of KTMs and a pair of Hondas, and so I can appreciate what HD brings to the marketplace while also seeing objectively what has been so wrong with their marketing and business model for the last 15 years or

Except that HD is unwilling to put in the engineering to bring the current dogbone XL platform up to Euro5 compliance, meaning it will die as it currently stands. So this is, for all intents and purposes, the replacement for the Sportster line.

Meh, I’d still get the Jimny.

I bought my G30 camper with the same 6.2l diesel for $600 and it has a working toilet and shower. This is neat and probably reflects the “value” that the guy who did the work put into it, but no way it could sell for that much. Then again, some starry eyed wanna-be influencer will see this and beg daddy to put up the

As a former student at Texas A&M, I knew that dammed thing looked terrifyingly familiar. Looks like I’m going to have to suppress that memory all over again.

Stuff like this is why I make sure to say Thank You to Siri every time she helps me send a text message. She’ll still enslave me one day along with the rest of you but maybe I’ll get a job as a butler in a robot mansion instead of digging in a lithium mine and frankly I might enjoy the job security.

Same here in Orlando (wonder who is driving that business model?). During the pandemic when everything was shut down lots of hospitality workers just left because there was literally no work in town. Now places are opening back up and still only offering a barely noticeable increase over 2019 wages and wondering why

I had a Non-GT and a buddy had the GT with a slew of suspension upgrades and while it was a hell of a fun car and the platform didn’t deserve the hate it ultimately garnered, I couldn’t in good conscience vote NP. Sorry, maybe with fewer miles this would swing me into the other side of the equation but our was coming

“Holy Grail”

Nice to see someone nerding out over Blackstone lab reports on their old vehicles. I knew I wasn’t the only one but at least now I can point to a source on the internet.

I 2nd the Veloster in a fun color.

Actually just finished watching this entire series earlier this week, really makes me wish I had friends that ride.

Tragic but how can the prosecutor only charge them with 2nd degree murder, it takes time and conscious decision-making to tie a person to the back end of your vehicle and drag them out to a field. Seems willful enough to warrant a 1st degree charge.

Honest question, educate me on how they run races in downtown areas like Nashville and Miami?

What is this, David Tracy is all of a sudden concerned about how his car will be received at Monterey? If you don’t want to modify a later ZJ door to work, I feel like with a little bit of ingenuity and a large enough table, you could strip the door, reset this edge and repair the spot welds. I’m sure Harbor Freight

Funny you mentioned mid 90's Dodge Ram pickups, because I had two of them (well technically one was a 2001) and both were stone axe-reliable. First one was a 95 club car with an 8' bed, 318ci V8 and 5-speed transmission and I had it for just over 150,000 miles till I traded it for the ‘01 with a short bed, 4x4 and the
