I’m just gonna start posting on popular posts since nothing else works so...

I loved Loki’s reaction to Kid Loki killing Thor was, “Hm, Respect.”

The Hall of Justice is no more. That tease at the end of Crisis went nowhere. Supergirl is leaving, Superman is barely in the new universe, and Black Lightning has retired.

I did love the direction though one thing bothered me was that at one point while the Omniscient Singing Cowboy Narrator Man was singing on Waverider, the camera went upwards so it looked like Zari and Behrad in the library were upstairs while Waverider is all one level.

Something seems more off with Mick than usual. Kayla must have done something to him, I think.

I mean, this show has a singing narrator delivering songs to camera, and that doesn’t get more of a shout-out in the view? That was the funniest part to me.

Also:

“Digg?”
“Yes ma’am, I definitely do dig!

no stray observation about dominic’s real life girlfriend annalynne mccord being on the show?

Again, there was a missed opportunity to bring her in with an episode called “The Ex-Factor.”

YES (and we know Zari is Ava’s maid of honor)

Tremendous bit of physical acting from Raffi Barsoumian as the paralytic was kicking in. He was certainly a fun villain, and even if we never see him again the eccentric singing clonemaster was certainly nice to have around.

After so long of Mick having nothing to do but drink, the writers have remembered why he’s so important to the team.

I may have been wrong last week in my prediction about this being an all-time great episode, but it was still a great episode.

He probably could’ve phrased it better, but I agree with the underlying sentiment 100%. It’s absurd that every male friendship gets distorted into a potential gay relationship, even when there’s no evidence beyond the relationship being just a male friendship. Happens with female friendships, too (see, e.g.,

It seemed a little derivative of Agents of SHIELD’s final season, but I’m not mad about it.

I do not love Bishop, but I do love Sara beating the absolute hell out of him, and then dragging him around like a sack of potatoes

Hey, are you guys ever going to fix comment notification links, so that we can actually find replies in the comment threads?

The standout moment of this episode for me was Mick’s speech about how yes, humans suck and deserve to go extinct, but Sara’s different and she can fix it and that’s why we have to find her. He got to the heart of the show in 2-3 sentences.

Sam had the best outfit in it:

It's funny no one mentions Geena Davis being fucking great in this.

I really like Olivia Swann as Astra. She nails both Astra being angry & intimidating, and her childlike vulnerability. It helps of course that she is tall & imposing but has the face of an angel
