it very much feels like the animated shows, where because they had 20+ episodes they could alternate between plot-centric and ‘adventures of the week’. but 20+ episodes annually and 8 episodes every 20 months is a very different beast.

She barely moved her mouth when she talked. I was very disappointed in her interpretation of Kate Kane. Hopefully we get a better one in a movie some day.

IIRC, the last episode (or maybe two), Sophie was riding around in the Batmobile with Batwoman. I believe she even got out and helped confront a baddie. If they had another season, I wouldn’t have been surprised if they had a little rebellion and started drawing straws to see who wore the suit.

I’ve watched every episode, but have been meh on Batwoman since the beginning and it did not help that with each season, the show got progressively worse.

Yes! I was 7 or 8 when this came out, and I just remember Penguin being gross and sad. I always felt like Batman was overmatched for the sad ugly guy in the dirty onesie. I feel like watching his gigantic but waddle around in dirty longjohns was more disturbing than watching him bite someone’s nose off.

That’s probably true - the writers saw how much we loved Beebo and other silly moments that season, and decided that’s what the show should be. Rather than realising that that’s what the show should occasionally be...

This show is so good at the team building and bringing characters on board. It is impossible for me to believe that the team once did not have either Zari or Ava 

Fucken Oath! AoS deserves top 3 at the very least.
