“Actually, turns out Agatha has no clue of what the hell is going on, either.”
“Actually, turns out Agatha has no clue of what the hell is going on, either.”
“It was Agatha all along.”
Narrator: It wasn’t
If you listen again, it’s Agatha, just slower and deeper.
I kinda doubted it was Reed because we are years away from the F4 movie, and they only recently got back the rights to them from Fox so they are probably only starting to think up ways to properly introduce the team.
The MCU is framed with a “superheroes = sympathetic” angle when their actions have serious repercussions for regular people that never get addressed. Hayward is probably going to be bad because the MCU struggles with nuance, but that doesn’t make him wrong here.
I think you are being a little harsh on Hayward.
While he is jumping to conclusions and is very ‘gung ho’ about shooting first asking questions later, from his perspective Wanda is posing a very serious threat (though maybe not immediate) and she is basically holding thousands of people hostage, and from Monica’s own…
I too watched Blood Drive. There are dozens of us, dozens!!
There was an inexplicably fun, yet pretty terrible, show called Blood Drive that ran for just one season, where the main bad guy essentially WAS Sinister, and the actor absolutely nailed the camp, amoral evilness of him.
Yea perhaps. The only thing I'll say is we don't actually know how strong Maeve is compared to Homelander.
Nerfing Stormfront, or at least leveling the playing field could have been done in a way that makes more sense, and I kept expecting it to happen. They’ve established that Starlight depletes her power when she uses it, but get’s “charged” up with electrical power. I was expecting that first blast Stormfront hit her…
Because the precious leftist politics must be protected at all costs!!! Truth be damned
I like that it doesn’t have anything to say. What is it you need to be told by television?
How is it “both sides are bad” when both bad people are on the same side?
Honestly, Kang didn’t read any political commentary in the Neumann reveal. But that might be because the reveal seemed so nonsensical, and Kang was reeling from the fifteen-car pileup of sloppy writing throughout this finale.
I think you are projecting too much on this. The Neuman reveal doesn’t mean Progressives = Nazis. It means she’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing and we have not a clue what her game is. I didn’t get that take at all. Cults of personalities are bad things was my biggest take away. If, next year, they show her as committed…
Definitely hit more than a few false notes this episode, but I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt on the whole “AOC = Antagonistic Overpowered Congresswoman” reveal. The Boys has proven to be a touch more smartly-written than the source material would imply, and more so than the naysayers give it credit…
Re:Ryan. He is raised a very specific way from his mom and sorta closed off fro the world. He doesnt know why at all. His whole issue with homelander was basically built off his moms vibes (and him pushing him off the roof). You also have to realize he has no knowledge that Homelander raped his mom and then she was…
There’s no way that the Church of the Collective isn’t behind the head-exploding at the hearing, right (I’m assuming Alistair is a Supe)? I’m guessing that Stan Edgar’s meeting with them already happened and that he would give them 2 spots in the 7 in exchange for cleaning up Vought’s mess hence the reason why…
I felt like Starlight should have had more of a shot against Black Noir.
Annie’s reaction about being lied to her whole life wasn’t that much different. And she’s was an adult woman. Ryan is just a child. I think it made sense he would be overemotional about it. I mean think how often kids say they hate their parents for much smaller things. If Ryan had time to cool down it’d be fine but…
