Homefront, surely?

They always say the best actors have expressive eyes. Look back at the most celebrated actors and it’s a pretty common trait.

Homestorm Runner

Don’t feed this troll - the real Dr Emilio Lizardo would not be in greys. I know sometimes the things he writes are almost sensible but it’s never worth letting him out of the greys. I usually dismiss him (he wrote exactly the same comment to me - he always does that hoping someone would take the bait) and let the

The show did it so well by showing Homelander had no real childhood. That’s how they’ve explained why he’s so fucked up. And it fits.

Why he has 0 social skills. Why he has to fake acting like how he thinks everyone else acts. Yeah he’s literally a psychopath, but the show implies it’s nurture not nature with him.

so many shipping names

I like the show because most of the SJWing and Mary Sueing is kept to a minimum, but what is with the inconsistency. Original Compound V only works in kids, yet Stormfront would have in her 20s when she met Vought in the 40s. And didn’t Stormfront knock Skinhead Eleven the fuck out, yet we see her escaping. And

I don’t think Homelander is simple. He just never had to be clever. Just like he never had to learn to fight. He is just so massively overpowered he can destroy anything he doesn’t like without bothering with any subtleties. If wants something he just takes it. He is a spoiled toddler because he never had to learn

Yes, you’re right Edgar knows about Sage Grove being test facility. I looked again and there were a lot of emails from Edgar about drug testing but we don’t know what they were actually about. They looked like she was reporting to him but, as I sad I don’t believe she would ever care to work with, not to mention for,

“Maybe once I would have cried over him, but now he’s just another person in our way,” she says of the man she accidentally kills when trying to rush the impaled Hughie to a hospital. In that moment, Annie, who asks Frenchie to dig Vought’s tracker out of her earlier in the episode

It also had my favorite trite movie dialog. “I’ve been running my whole life. It’s time I stayed put for a while”

Watching the after show and seeing Starr being himself was a real eyeopener for what he’s doing with Homelander.

I liked “Banshee” but Starr has sooooo much more to do in “The Boys” granted since he is the Homelander he doesn’t need to fight like he did, but between martial arts and sex that was like 90% of his character in “Banshee” and the dude is on a whole nother level in this show. Plus that guy was mostly cool and composed

No question. Even in a great cast, Starr is the MVP.

He’s terrific. He’s doing a fantastic job this season of being someone who is slowly realizing that he’s losing control over everything and he no longer in tune with the times

“What more can you say about Antony Starr, if you haven’t seen Banshee yet than you need to start now. Gives an acting Masterclass on that show as well.”

Yes, remaining inside the guts of a whale carcass completely shellshocked was perfectly absurd.

In the tradition of good storytelling, Hughie is -essentially - US. We identify with him because we experience so much of the insanity of The Boy’s world through his uninitiated eyes. At least we can be fairly certain that he’ll survive the series.

Translucent’s empty glass coffin (they have to presume he’s lying there- we know he was blown to bits) is a hilarious visual. As were fans’ old pics and selfies with a disembodied costume.

It absolutely is a justification. Fitz was in an impossible scenario with no good options, as was Deke. You’re choosing to ignore context to selectively demonize two characters who have shown to choose the moral option, when such options are feasible. Growing up in an apocalyptic hellscale and being forced to choose
