that's not true at all. most of TV is moving to 60 fps and up. especially the sports events which look terrible at 29.97. go record a broadcast on your PC and look at what the stations are broadcasting. Fox, ABC, etc is broadcasting 720p/60 now. NBC is still doing 1080i/30 but is about to switch because of the

if they're already turning off V-sync to keep the framerate up, the Wii U is in seriously trouble.

there's no mention of the B#*%S*#* numbers you posted. just because the tech in the Wii U is derived from these devices doesn't mean it has the power of these devices. the Atom was initially derived the development team work on the Core i7. So you're going to say the Atom is as fast as a Core i7?

you'd complain if adding a second controller dropped that 30 fps game to sub30.

i dare you to find any article from a legitimate source stating any of your numbers.

play Burnout, Modern Warfare, Forza Motorsport, Gran Turismo, etc. and then you'll know the difference.

if the game is vsynced, it can't run at 45 fps. it has to be a multiple. so the game can run at 60 fps but then drops to 30 if it can't hold 60.

wow. you haven't played 60 fps games have you? go play MW2, MW3, Forza Motorsport 3 or 4, Pinball Arcade, Gran Turismo 5 (when the framerate doesn't drop), etc. Or heck, play on a modern PC.

ugh. the Internet is rife with people who don't know technology. No matter what kind of technology you have there is latency. A hardwired LAN that is a 10/100 network has a latency around 15-45 ms. You can't avoid it. It's working within the laws of physics. Wireless communication adds to that.

you don't understand how this tech works. the wii U is the computer that sends the information back and forth with the controller via a remote desktop type of interface. so it's basically a creating a virtual desktop on the GamePad. all the processing work is being done by the Wii U console. the GamePad is not a

where's your source? the official sources are vague and only say CPU: IBM PowerⓇ-based multi-core processor. GPU: AMD Radeon-based High Definition GPU.

you know how excited people are for Halo 4 after the press conference? I checked my friends list (and it's not a major list) and 5 people were playing Halo 3 and 4 people were playing Halo Reach. I asked a couple why and they said they wanted to revisit all the games again before Halo 4 comes out.

well, that's going to be an awful lot of games since the hardware specs on the Wii U aren't impressive...

and that's what separates nintendo gamers from hardcore gamers...

so if a game was intended for 60 fps has to concede to 30 fps for multiple controllers, that's not so bad. that's something I'm willing to accept.

doesn't FIFA already do this?

now that makes sense. *thumbs up*

wow. so i have to choose between the possibility of seeing dicks or having me recorded...

my former neighbor is an architect and we used to live in a neighborhood with custom housing. so he built a firefighter pole from an upstairs room to near his kitchen...

man, complainers keep multiplying like mold. check mail? press the mail button. there. need another lesson?
