umm.. there are lots of platforms now where developers have to pay the platform holders in order to publish their titles... iOS, Android, Steam, etc. where have you been the past 5 years? and besides, what you said only applies to Metro apps. desktop apps are still the wild West. but of course, the greatest

i'm sorry but this isn't how people do karaoke anywhere in the world. it's not how we do karaoke at bars, at private studio rooms, on home karaoke machines. who wants to hold a lyric sheet and a mic while singing?

xbox.com already has some screenshots up... it does look like PowerUP Heroes with Marvel which is a good thing.

no it's not. PowerUP Heroes is a ton of fun. and it has online multiplayer.

Now playing

it's being made by Ubisoft Quebec which also made PowerUP Heroes... so that should give you a good idea what it's going to be like... so now instead of a bunch of made up enemies, you have Marvel characters...

don't see a problem here. Xbox Live Gold is worth it and it's often on sale. And most people don't buy Gold just to watch Netflix or just to watch Amazon or just to watch ESPN. They already paid for gold to have party chat, online multiplayer, etc. So that has already been paid off. your logic's messed up. it's

no, but I've held monsters like the HP TM2. even though the iPad is more comfortable and lighter, it still ends up in the same place (propped up) because until it weighs as little as an ebook reader, it's still too heavy.

it's all anectdotal. even yours. i have about 40 friends (and real friends, not this virtual Facebook friends thing) with iPads. none of them hold the iPad for more than a few minutes.

yay, an exclusive right for EA leading to crappy games and no competitors to make better ones...

i find that hard to believe. neither me, nor my dad, nor my brothers, nor my friends hold up the iPad for more than a few minutes, if that. it always ends up propped up on your knees, lap, etc. i definitely call BS on that...

I know. seriously, I think a lot of people who make these comments don't actually use them!

actually, i was referring to the dolphin emulator of the game that people were raving about as so beautiful and how the Wii U version will look amazing when it'll still have the same flat lighting as is known for all Nintendo games.

who cares? even the iPad 2 ends up in your lap because it gets heavy too. the only lightweight tablet that can be held for longer times is the Kindle Fire. or the ebook readers. everything else ends up in your lap.

it's because the best versions of multiplatform games are on the Xbox. frame rate hiccups, bad texture mapping, etc. always happen with the PS3 version.

metroid prime has the worst lighting model of any modern game. it's got the same flat lighting that COD has.

this game looks awesome! are they using the ghost recon future soldier engine???

yeah, because browsing on a 4" screen is fun... pinch, zoom, pinch, zoom, pinch, zoom.

looks like Xbox companion for Windows 8. watching the E3 presentation right now.

seriously. it wasn't until ICS that there was hardware acceleration of the graphics. before ICS, scrolling was a stuttering mess on practically every Android handset. there's good things to like in ICS so there's no need to cover up the deficiencies...

yeah, why do you have to be a smarmy jackass? no video game company is doing things out of the goodness of their hearts. a company does what any company does. make a product so that their employees have a job and make money so they can make a living.
