I don't understand why the hate for the stylus. Yes, when it's your ONLY form of interaction that sucks, but why on earth is it bad when it's one among many? I completely agree with you. Personally I don't think I'll just into the tablet game until I can get one able to replace a textbook, pen-input

Well that's okay, since this isn't a capacitive stylus. It's akin to the wacom-style digitizers in the Tablet PC's of yore.

Isn't there almost always a bar or some other obstruction underneath each seat that prevents you from pushing anything into the foot-space of the guy in front of you? I'm not surprisingly not on a plane right now, but I'm fairly certain you're usually told to put it under the seat in front, and this would support that.

I think the confusion is over the connection to the Targa codename, which at least before was understood to potentially be the replacement for the possibly canned/maybe delayed Bionic. There should be a Droid 3, but the Targa didn't appear to have a keyboard based on earlier leaks.

Because it's almost entirely unexplored? And going down to look at something for a matter of minutes does not mean we've really seen or done much of anything. And who says we shouldn't get ecstatic about Shuttle launches? It's fucking miraculous that we can hurl a group of humans into space whenever we feel like it.

Whatever your link is, it's broken.

I'm not sure what research you could possibly do to prove my statement of NOT EVERYONE who hates Bush is blind to reason and logic is wrong, but this has gone too far down the political flame bait rabbit hole, so I'm bowing out.

And I disagree. Plenty of things were Bush's fault, but foreign security forces fucking up? Not the fault of the president. Being a Bush hater isn't synonymous with being blind to reason, so you shouldn't be shocked that the comments aren't full of Bush-blaming posts.

Neither? It's a prison run by Afghan security forces. Not that I want to impede your nobel goal of enflaming the comments.

Ah. Didn't check the link where it makes that clear. My B.

@mr_bannana: The investment banker brought a friend, not the cabbie btw.

Alright, I'm consulting a dictionary, and according to Merriam-Webster one of the definitions is

How is it not a mistake? At least in the sense that it is something that you can later regret doing, and realize you should never have done it. I'm not saying that someone mistakingly does it, and I'm not saying that it isn't horrible and deserving of punishment, just that in retrospect they can realize their mistake.

It isn't a pro-corporation position. It's a fundamental discussion over how closely your criminal past should follow you. And really, over how much this sort of screening makes any sense. Sexual assault isn't limited to just those with a record, and there's nothing to say that someone with a record will always assault

This is NOT the way to handle sexual abuse, as much as I absolutely detest what happened to this woman. This ostracizes members of society who should be being rehabilitated. Does somebody who commits a mistake (a terrible mistake, yes) in their life not deserve to find someone else? Does this mean we'll need a dating

Fireboats are always going to pump water faster than trucks. You have no capacity limits and they can hold bigger pumps, so it isn't a fair comparison. As to your question though, I have no fact-based idea. But I imagine you can't spew all that much water out the end of it without causing extreme stress on the boom.

For the most part they are different, and much of your list of "firsts" is pretty debatable. Some of them don't even work here: Android's homescreen isn't a page of apps, unless you specifically choose it to be that way. And the needs of the user dictates much of how phone software and hardware are going to be

This is beyond ridiculous. Everything with a roughly 4" screen is going to look kind of like the iPhone, what the hell else option is there? It's slab so that it fits in your pocket, and it's mostly screen because that's what matters most. And god forbid you dare use some of the same materials to build it.
