I recall "Hey girl hey" being a thing from Tila Tequila. That show was bonkers.
I have an American Girl Molly doll unopened and a 9 year old sister. Is that too old? I played with dolls way too long so I have no idea.
I like to bring that tidbit up when people claim ghetto isn't a racial word. :)
Agreed. I'm in Detroit and thug is a pretty non-racial term as far as I've heard it used around here.
I've been getting into hip hop more lately and I have been questioning this a lot. I appreciate completely that it is not right to appropriate a culture but rap, etc. can't be segregated entirely from the rest of the art world. People try styles on. However, trying on races is very different.
I only know this because Liz Lemon told me.
I love this comment so much.
Cool insight. No sarcasm. :)
To say that a woman's behavior is being targeted toward the male gaze doesn't mean that she isn't in control of it. Just that she should evaluate it.
As if the problem with Detroit is too little cosplay.
Is it worth getting into? I always see ads for it during Adventure Time but it didn't pique my interest until the other day when I saw an ad featuring Tants.
But I wanna wear an outfit. That's reverse racism to me take responsibility for the emotional impact of my behavior.
That's exactly what I felt, too.
Word. :)
Again with my genius, I thought baby animals would be easier to obtain since they'd be slower. But maybe no? Because of what you said about meat and that they'd probably be near whoever was helping them to obtain <i>their</i> food... My one evolutionary psych class may have been one too many...
I always figured it was confusion, cause babies are little animals who we would ordinarily eat I guess..., and at the same time we have a desire to love them and that all gets mixed up into one "CUTE! EAT IT!" signal. </supergenius>
Naw. It just has to make sense.
Which is why Andy Samberg's jokes are absolutely hilarious. They are all compliments or positive observations told as burns.
My parents did the same thing.
