Jackie Sherril's castration stunt did not fail. The Bulldogs beat the Longhorns the next day. Turns out that castration can be a strong motivator. Who'd of thunk it?

What, you think they'll be allowed to buzz the ground at 100 ft and zoom in between buildings? Why would that be allowed?

I would argue a lot of the noise you hear from a standard small aircraft - say Cessna 172 - is engine noise, which could be muffled, but on an airplane - why? But the debate is beside the point, it wouldn't be using the props on the ground unless taking off/landing. Do you think we would have them buzzing everyone

I'm thinking you have nothing intelligent to say on the matter.

Propellers aren't that noisy; the straight-piped engines are the majority of the noise, and you can muffle that by not using straight pipes. The weight of a muffler is hardly an issue. Also, why would you need the oud propeller on the ground? That's what the transmission and wheels are for. They already have this

Only b/c they don't muffle the exhaust. They use straight pipes. There's no reason they can't muffle it. BTW, cars aren't loud? Ever live in a big city? And why can't we make an electric flying cars? I mean it's a theoretical discussion to begin with but 'planes are loud'<flying cars, dude FLYING CARS!

Well, then fuck Elon Musk. Sorry. Flying cars are a must. I'm not sure why they would be louder than cars on the ground, and our view changes when we build buildings and everything else. Is the sky less pretty around airports? Finally, I really really hate the argument that says we can't have anything nice

Saab did use the term 'wagon' to refer to their station wagons until about 2004 or so, I think. Or they used both wagon and Combi (sometimes Kombi).

If you can buy one, do it! 50 years from now, this shirt will be worth money. Imagine if you owned a T-shirt from the olympics from the 50's with Stalin on it in a weightlifting outfit.

What in the hell is that music that they're playing?

Aside from Chester A. Aurthur, I don't see any of them as being especially right, either.

P.C. fail.

That's Catera, my friend. Don't say the other C-word. If it's said 3 times it re-animates:

Pretty, fun, comfy, rock-solid. And collectible.

So I can't call a convertible ghia a feminine car (it is - sorry), but I can call a fucking Honda Civic warlike?!? The PC program here is not only inconsistent, but a questionable judge of samurai.

If you take generation of cars to be 10-20 years, I don't agree that we're seeing the last generation of purpose-built human driven cars. I just don't think the technology is as far advanced as the hype.

That's what I used to own and ride in the 90's, but now they're difficult to find and usually priced like they're collectors' items. An 88 nighthawk, an 84 Kaw 750ltd - these are great bikes, but they aren't classics.

But sometimes it just seems so true!!

I would say nice price - but why new motor and suspension? This car really isn't stock anymore, which is supposed to be its thing - it lasts forever. Except this one hasn't.

I was going to say something, but you've said it better.
