So tragic, another Dolphin getting caught up in the net.

You must have read that Vox article. I mostly disagree with the premise, sometimes it’s not being pretentious or “smug,” Republicans really are just that stupid.

Even straight people who aren’t 100% gender conforming and/or compliant with gender stereotypes. It does everything!

I’ve done that at concerts, and other things, along with a bunch of my friends. No one cared.

The party of small government is at it again.

I read the original Iron Man comics. Originally he’s captured by the Viet Cong in the the Vietnam war. The wise old man that helps him build his suit is an old vietnamese man. In the comics as well as in the movie Tony Stark needed a little time to get the last parts together and go out guns blazing.

A better question may be how those core values translate in the work environment. My company has a defined set of values our director could recite blindfolded but that doesn’t mean she actually follows them.

When I interview, I ALWAYS ask, “what are your company’s core values”.

I make sure they align with what is important to me. And if the hiring manager doesn’t even know what their core values are, it’s time to end it right there.

Don’t know about that or that it’s a rule of thumb. My first major job out of college was one where I was offered the job on the spot. It was a great job. I learned a lot, liked my coworkers, and grew quite a bit in that job. In this case, I was quite a bit more qualified than anyone they’d seen and they saw potential

I’d say yes they were two red flags. And use the time she had this job to go look for another one. It may take a year and a half but at least she’ll be able to do something in the meantime which helps with the feeling of awfulness in being in a horrible job at a company that blows. This happens a lot to my husband and

There’s an old adage about the customer who balks at price of a design that takes the designer ten minutes to complete, then the designer responds by saying that it took them X amount of years to learn how to do it in ten minutes (insert any skilled service in lieu of design).

But that’s a form of payment :D! I believe as long as you receive compensation for your time, you’re good, especially for family ;D

a robin doing what it was built for and a robin driving are not the same thing

The problem that you run into with Strange is that his basic mythos is 5 decades old and attitudes towards asian were extremely different. I agree with other posters saying that both The Ancient Ones and Danny Rand’s casting were unwinnable battles for Marvel Studios. Because if you cast an asian you’re reinforcing

I love whoever nominated “Schoolie McSchoolface”.

I don’t know how much screen time he’ll have, but according to IMDB, Benedict Wong is playing Wong. (He’s listed just after Chiwetel Ejiofor’s Baron Mordo.)

idk, i think he’s becoming john travolta slash kesha and it’s freakin me out

I’m still not convinced that is not a picture of a wax figure.

I believe the only two minorities are Benedict Wong and Chiwetel Ejiofor. Both have pretty substantial roles, with Ejiofor obviously having a pretty big role since he is relatively big name now.

When did Zac Efron get into uncanny valley territory with his face?
