As a survivor of an emotionally abusive relationship that progressed to physical abuse (at which point I got out) I whole heartedly agree that LW 2 run and never look back. He has a lot going for him that this thing is online only. It is so much easier to get out. My abuser lived a mile from me. Made it easy for him

He is grateful they are too young yet to understand. But the day is fast approaching where that will not be so and he has no idea how to explain to them how shitty the world is.

A close friend of mine adopted two children (blood siblings) who are black and he is terrified for them. Since he and his wife are white they frequently encounter strangers who feel the need to make racist comments about a 5 year old and 1 year old. I just cannot even imagine how afraid these stories make them for

So he wasn’t “cooperating” (*cough*bullshit*cough*) and that means it is okay to gun him down? And let him bleed out without even trying to help him despite being trained to do so? I really feel like throwing up right now, I am so disgusted.

I grew up in Minnesota and was a kid when this happened. It really changed things for a lot of us. Parents were afraid to let their kids play outside alone after this happened. All these years later I still remember when it first happened. I hope that having a body to bury will bring some closure to his parents.

This is timely. I have been rereading Lovecraft lately and have found the blatant racism pretty off putting. I love the way Lovecraft writes. It is eloquent and creative. I adore “Pickman’s Model” and the way in which it was written. “The Cats of Ulthar” served great cosmic justice against horrible animal abusers. But

Can I get this for my boobs? Underboob sweat is THE WORST! Especially in the summer.

Don’t forget about the enthusiastic pus/pudding eating...

I love Hero Rats! I have been a fan of their amazing work since the early days of the project. Not only was it a genuis idea (since the pouched rats are more easily trained, handled, and cannot set off the mines accidentally), but Bart Wheetjens faced a lot of skepticism and criticism and didn’t let it deter him. They

Every time I hear a white dude make comparisons like that (civil rights, abolition of slavery) I want to punch him in the throat. It’s some pretty epic entitlement to think that your “struggle” to control women’s bodies is the same as the end of slavery or the struggle for equal rights.

I agree with you but the article states that she delivered in the back of a car and it died after 30 minutes. I don’t agree, but perhaps the fact that it survived for any amount of time after birth is what they are using to justify murder. Not sure how this will go from a legal stand point but since certain groups of

I have two kitties (a six year old female and a 10 month old male) and both of them love the cat dancer toy. Though my kitten will kill anything he can get his paws and teeth on. Such as my mail, my ankles when I walk away from him, my yoga mat, expensive art books, my blinds, scarves... I will never get my damage

And it makes me laugh every time. :)

I always knew they were more dangerous then they looked...

All righty. Former pharmacy person here. Here’s a brief low down on acetaminophen (Tylenol), Ibuprofen (Advil), and naproxen (Aleve).

He could totally do that. I figured he wanted to wipe out humanity because Kal lived among them and cared about them. So he wanted to hurt Kal by eliminating them. Now I never said that was good logic, though. But I never really expect too much logic from villains in a super hero movie.

I never knew I needed to see this until now. I would watch the hell out of that.

So I fully admit I actually enjoyed this movie. But then, I went into it wanting to see xenomorphs and predators kill each other (and some people along the way). I wanted mindless entertainment and so I wasn’t disappointed. I suppose if I had been looking for scientific accuracy or a great plot I would have been

Zod had no reason aside from the fact that he wanted to be a dick to Kal. And to be fair, spite/assholery is as good of a reason as any when you are an evil villain. Now the Jesus symbolism was terrible, though. And the movie was, like, an hour too long and could have done without Papa Kent dying or the space opera

How often do you find you need to go in for a cut? I feel like $70 isn't awful if it isn't often, but I am just finishing up my second degree and have not been working through my clinical rotations so I may have to wait until I get a job post-graduation...
