Oh believe me, my parents are Boomers. Growing up in suburban Boston, the N-word was used freely and openly, and the general belief was that allowing “the blacks” into town would lead to the unraveling of everything our little town of 25,000 held dear.

Boomers had plenty of kids, and raised them racist.

Much has been made of the whole “racism will start to subside when the Boomers die off” thing...but the problem is there are a lot of white folks who grew up in suburbs where the only black people they met before they went to college were bused in to the schools from the big city.
