That’s some King Joffrey-grade psychopathic behavior.
I know this is petty and beside the point, but didn’t Mr. Stepford have dark hair when he was menacing the community? Did he go blonde to get daddy Trump’s attention?
Yuck. I saw a couple of super early 2024 polls recently that put Pence in the lead around 30-40% followed by Jr. at around 20-30% then a smattering of others, including Nikki Haley, Tucker Carlson, Ivanka, and Tom Cotton with around 10% or less.
True. I guess we can’t diagnose him with all the diseases of the psyche until he starts publicly ranting about his bodily fluids in an inexplicably nude version of his chopper talks. So, hey, there’s something fun to look forward to!
Bonus points if the text of those articles begins: “Audibly soiling himself as US Postal Service agents took the former president into custody on the tarmac before his private jet, that was scheduled to depart to [non-extradition country]...”
I hear ya. I’m not sure I’d actually have it in me to watch the pure, uncut fascism jamboree. I had a hard enough time forcing myself to watch the circus Republicans made of impeachment. Why subject myself to that when I’ve got plenty of smart/entertaining things I like to consume? Plus, there are all those poor souls…
This is some pretty obvious trolling that was rightfully smacked down. It’s also worth considering that there probably is a section of the reich-wing that trusts more in the fascist movement than the personality of Donald Trump. If we manage to get Biden over the line, these are the people to keep an eye on, lest we…
I’m sort of surprised they haven’t already abolished it. I mean come on, California, you’re really going to let New England show you up like that?
“As you can see, my husband’s position is one that requires him to be skilled in matters of oversight.”
Odd, because I had heard the fake Doctor spent the weekend huffing glue behind the middle school. SAD!
And by spirit, I mean as a cloud of COVID aerosols that can trace its origins to the Trump plague rally.
He still has an ‘it’ to lose? I feel like that ship sailed, at least around the time of “person, woman, man, camera, TV.”
A sick part of me has been looking forward to the RNC more than the DNC because of the sheer entertainment value. It’s like watching Godzilla knock over a city. But I figure it’s also a bit like watching a solar eclipse: staring directly at it could cause irreparable harm to my being. I’m contenting myself with…
I think it’s likely he’ll see serious consequences, but those consequences probably won’t be jail time. It’s possible he might get charged with crimes by New York’s AG, it’s even possible Biden will follow through on his promise to let his AG have at ‘im (though this is less likely, in my mind). I think the bigger…
Because I’m apparently an account that exists solely to talk about the post office (2020 has done strange things to us all):
Oh no! Now how will George and Kellyanne act out whatever weird sex thing was obviously behind their messy public opposition?
Because it will slow the leftward drift of the Democratic Party and Pelosi loves to punch at the hippies. Kennedy and Markey have basically the same the policies, but if Kennedy gets in now he’ll be harder to oust by Ayanna Pressley or some of the other up and coming progressive talent in Massachusetts the next time…
Sorry, I misread your comment there. I’ve long heard 35% cited as the critical point-of-no-return where a candidate cannot possibly get elected.
Yeah, that’s why I’m pretty wary of all the polling news about Biden kicking Trump’s ass up and down the block. I’m certainly hoping that reflects future voting behavior, but that 40% approval makes me think it’s not the whole story. I’d feel a lot more comfortable if Trump were in the 35% or less category.
