My sons school, which is fairly diverse , about 50/50 and is the winningest program in our state, has seen a steep decline in participation and a change of the team demographics.

Having spent almost 30 years moving metal , I would say , anecdotally, that most guys that have a commitment to banging weights, are all a bit tweaked.
