Have a nice nap up in the overhead bin!
There is a regulation, but it specifies evacuation times.
I know how you feel. I’m a rather slender 6'5" man myself. I go to the big and tall section at Dillards and I’m like “Oh! That’s a nice sweater!” then I see that the smallest size they have it in is 3XLT. I need a size LT. Big and tall really means fat and tall when it comes to clothes. Just because I’m 6'5" doesn’t…
For those of us getting older, pooling blood in the extremities caused by reduced circulation is a problem as well. I don’t want to be throwing a clot or have an embolism because I had to fly somewhere.
as another 6'5" man I am getting to the point where I don’t know what to do sometimes. I just measured my leg while seated from my ass to my kneecap - 29". How is that supposed to fit in a 28" seat?
Man, I’m only 5'8" and even I agree with the notion of a larger mandated minimum. The current pitches are just painfully small.
Did you seriously not read the rest of his post? I mean, he pretty clearly laid out why he thought it was unsafe.
I would love to take a train, but they can’t even make that easy
Same. Unless I’m crossing an ocean, I just drive.
But only bear arms.
As another 6'5" man, I say violent protest is needed. The last time I was on a plane, I saw them take an armrest off to accommodate a fat lady. I asked the flight attendant to remove the seat in front of me while she was at it. Got a dirty look
As an extra tall man I’ve stopped flying. I just can’t deal with being on a plane for more than an hour at a time. I regularly drive to my destinations, some times as much as 16 hours.
I don’t necessarily disagree. You should bear in mind, however, that any regulations mandating legroom are likely to increase ticks costs, and cost increases will disproportionately impact the poorest travelers.
Actually, no. You only have a right for arms.
Narrower seats are lighter seats, which means lower weight, which means less fuel consumption.
Feeling obligated to finish your plate
Na it’s not an arcane rule, no one cares about it sure all give you that. It was a bad take, don’t be butthurt.
If my baton hand-off efforts were interrupted by the stroke of a hot Brazilian, I’d probably lose control and just wildly toss it as well.
While it was a close shave, Felix is probably lucky she didn't get the full Brazilian.
