Oh, sorry if my comment was unclear. Terminator seeds do exist! (They’re quite easy to make). But I think in that case, farmers were suspicious that Monsanto was sneaking them in so that they’d be forced to buy more seeds. (Which makes sense from a cold business perspective, so I wouldn’t have put it past Monsanto.)

Woah, I thought that most GMO crops (esp. corn) were fertile just like any other. I think Monsanto actually had to field off a controversy b/c they were accused of selling so-called terminator seeds.

Hah, I love the sass coming from the doctors who are protesting against this. And you’re right. It’s not a “medical” procedure if it’s not backed up by medical research and has a medical purpose. :/

That’s true. It’s not supposed to make sense scientifically. It’s supposed to set precedence that fetuses feel pain, and are thus humans...thus making abortions legally murder.

Ha, if I were an anesthesiologist I would get all my anesthesiologist buddies to boycott that guy. Like, refuse to give him any anesthesia if he were ever to get surgery. And then tell him, “Why don’t you go ahead and do it yourself, it’s not an amazing skill!”.
