Haha, it’s definitely closer than 20%! I got 98% Bernie and 97% Hillary on that isidewith quiz, and I believe their voting records were 94 (or 93)% identical. But that just highlights how ridiculous some supporters are being about this election. Neither one of the candidates is perfect. And neither one is evil. It’s

Mathematically they are a little different—you’re taking yourself out of the denominator by abstaining. But statistically, if we’re assuming that only the democratic party will be divided in this fashion, then yes, abstaining from the general election will basically amount to a win for the Republican candidate.

Hahaha, I always replace overly-serious BernieBro(TM) statements about
“the establishment” or “corporate shills/Shillary” with “WAKE UP SHEEPLE OF AMERICA”. It makes for much more entertaining reads. :P

Bernie is a much better man that his supporters. I’ve said it before, but his most vocal supporters are really letting him down. :/

Dude, if you really want me to assign a stereotype to you, I’d say you were an Asian male, likes to spend time on Reddit, upvotes threads about revenge stories humiliating slutty women, posts or upvotes dank Bernie memes or anti-Hillary memes.

I honestly have no idea what he’s trying to say. Is he implying that PoC, LGBT, and women’s issues aren’t closely tied to economic ones? Because they and economic issues are not exclusive?? Like, ?????

Haha I know right? WHEN DID THAT EVER HAPPEN IN THE HISTORY OF ANYTHING. I highly doubt that 4 or 8 years of Trump would spark any revolution, unless he started for real dragging people out of their homes at night and executing them in broad daylight. My point is, it has to be Young Adult Sci-Fi Exaggerated Dystopian

Out of my friend group (we’re all 20 somethings), only a few of us are Sanders supporters and the rest are Hillary supporters or somewhere in between. However, as mostly women of color, we’re all VERY aware of our tenuous hold on basic rights. So we all are agreed that whoever gets the Dem nomination gets our vote.

Or MAYBE the AI starts interacting with him more, becoming frustrated with this gamer’s illogical choices, bantering with him, and learns to be human through love. The cover of my future bestseller will look kinda like this:

Haha, I thought the word “creepypasta” came from “copypasta”, which was itself derived from “copy and paste”.

That is such a great gif (though hopefully the gymnast wasn’t a douche who deserved that).

If you didn’t WANT professors to stare at your boobs, then you shoulda got a double mastectomy or called him out on it by gouging out his eyes with a rusty spoon, you tease! I’m sick of women complaining about these easily-fixed situations and not sticking up for themselves!

My favorite comment:

This is where the 100 would benefit from timeslots like Game of Thrones—the 40 minutes that they get is just not enough time for what they seem to be trying to accomplish. (That or saving some of this material for season 4.) Right now they have waaay too many subplots going on:

Yup. I’m not sure how much was prevalent in the earlier seasons, but this season it got especially bad. Their characters aren’t real characters anymore—they’re just instruments to carry out the plot.

It’s sad because I signed up for kinja because of io9, but now I go there less and less (I’m more of a lurker now). I do occasionally comment if I feel like I have something to add, though. The faithful io9 commenters are still around and even though I get exasperated by the new gizmodo crew’s willful obliviousness, I

Plotwise, Lexa dying at some point (though not in this fashion) does kinda make sense. It’s “too easy” story-wise for an all-powerful commander to be looking out for the Ark people. I mean, a big part of the 100's drama is the conflict (political or physical) between the Grounders and the Arkadians/Sky Crew. She’d

OH NO. I didn’t even think of that. I actually feel kind of betrayed by the writers because in the first half of season 1, I HATED Bellamy. I wanted him to get killed off. Then he had a breakdown and started listening to his moral center more...and I grudgingly warmed up to him. By the season finale I was cheering him

It is truly a terrible trope and I’m sure I left out a lot of other nuances. I’m (probs) asexual so I can’t speak for gay/bi women...but that scene left me a little disturbed at it’s jarring switch from same-sex love to death. But...I’m glad that because of her death, we’re now having this discussion about queer

I love that no matter what your stance is on Lexa’s death, we can all band together and agree that Bellamy’s arc is the worst written storyline ever. You can’t just UNDO character progression in the span of like 3 episodes for cheap drama.
