If you are on the sine line at a game or on your way to/from a practice or game (as a player) then the look is fine. Same for soccer, football, baseball, etc. In all other circumstances you look ridiculous and should stop.

Same with my kids' schools. I thought this was pretty standard.

And don't forget that you can be certain that a female Captain is earning the same salary as a male Captain (or whatever rank). Advancement opportunities may still be limited for women but at least you know that the guy next to you doing the same job isn't earning more pay.
