I'm with you. I know him from watching High School Musical with my daughter. I can accept that he's gotten older since then but admiring him still makes me feel like a perv.

No magic but they are manufactured to medical device specs which require more precision than a lot of (most?) other manufacturing. The companies also have to fund way more testing and lawsuit insurance than the makers of copper electrical wire.

Early sonograms are almost always done transvaginal. They can't see much with an abdominal sonogram until later in the pregnancy.
