That’s because Emmet is just some regular guy, not an iconic character people have been growing up with for 40 years, and who has had a well-established voice for more than half of that time.

My negative impressions of Tesla were formed by the cars I see with misaligned body panels. They increased upon seeing hearing a Model X parallel parking with a front end that groaned and squeaked like a Crown Victoria taxi with 600k miles on it, and opinion further sank after a Model 3 Uber ride. Musk is a douche,…
Subaru used to make manual transmissions, now they make money.
The Tesla Model S. While I don’t, and probably never will, own a Tesla, I feel like the Model S was what kicked off several great modern automotive trends in earnest: the electric car craze, direct-to-consumer sales model, and continuous improvement via OTA updates, to name but a few. Plus, it proved a mainstream…
None.
IMO, wishing for a modern car to come with a manual is like wishing for a camera phone to come with manual focus.
Everyone who hates on the CRZ misses several of these points. The car isn’t fast, but you have to give Honda credit for designing a hybrid you could get with a manual and a supercharger, at a time when hybrids were exclusively seen as boring economy cars that had to be slow.
Ok, well I can’t remove my comment but it was extremely confusing to see it laid out this way.
cool...now do ships.
How on earth did this end up with practically no body cladding while the WRX has an excessive amount?
Obscuring a plate does not put anyone at risk, and I don’t think that is the argument being made. The quote itself mentions obscuring your plate so that you can take part in other illegal activity with impunity, including speeding and running red lights, which does generally put others at risk
It makes 480 hp total and comes with a battery rated at 410 miles of range
Toll roads do kind of make sense. If someone isn’t using the highway, why should they pay for other people to use the highway?
Since they already have license plate readers, in order to catch people going through that don’t have an E-ZPass, what is the actual point of the transponder?
My namesake the Mazda Millenia: an upscale midsize luxury sedan that competed against Mazda’s other midsize sedan all because Mazda’s planned luxury brand died on the vine.
I’m only 30 and agree. The Mercedes EQS integrates much better with even more screens. The HVAC are still controlled via screen, but the controls are forever in one place at the bottom, and they’re pretty big.
Low hanging fruit, but Tesla. It’s not just that switching between basic controls involves shuffling through menus - the bigger crime is how they set this awful trend of covering the cabin in screens and tying all controls to one (not entirely reliable) interface.
And no more midsize and large patrol cars!
How about we just tell cops to stop idling on the side of the road trying to catch speeders and save gas that way.
