I’d see an uphill battle with reviving AMC: the brand(s) that survived have too long been associated with FCA and all the nostalgia for the ones that didn’t won’t matter because 35-40% of the population wasn’t alive when AMC went under, so they have no association with it.

Except their words don’t match what they actually do. The color options on the GTI and Golf R were very limited. Sure, they added a few extra ones, but still pretty plain. Mainly darker metallic colors and some shade of white and gray/silver.
