This looks great, but hard disagree with all the “black out the chrome” people. If anything, the mirror caps should be the same silver as the D pillars. If you black it all out, it just looks like a Chevy Tahoe, not the upscale look they’re going for.

At what point do you put warrants out for a driver’s arrest, or at least impound the offending car? $1000 in tickets? $10,000?

IIRC insurance adjusters use mileage on the wrecked cars to estimate their value, so they must capture it somewhere.

Kia EV6 comes to mind - nothing really like it in the ICE world.

It more likely would have been the 4th Gen Fit/Jazz, but we didn’t buy enough of them

Mazda MX-30.

It’s a small, impractical, RWD, two-door coupe/convertible with no back seat that is bought mostly just for fun. Can’t speak for others, but that’s the basis for my comparison. There aren’t a lot of other cars like that; even an Audi TT coupe is more usable.

Yes BUT most every time I see this discussed, for some reason people want to revert to Standard time - you know, the reason it’s dark at 4pm in the Winter?

I believe all of that, but so too has the entire market increased in power & tech - hell, who could have imagined a Camry would have 300HP just 20 years ago?

I would call this the Miata for tall people, but annoyingly it’s still pretty tight inside these if you’re over 6'

IIRC even Jeremy Clarkson told people to buy the six-cyllinder and got shit for it from his co-hosts.

But that’s what I’m saying - it can do both and you pay for that perk, but the other two are so much more limited as vehicles and yet cost almost the same.

Totally. My point is more that the GTI - SE or Autobahn - is just so much more car for roughly the same money. It’s wild to me that budget sports cars like the 86 and Miata have gotten so much more expensive that they’re in the same conversation as a much more practical, powerful, more all-rounder of a vehicle like

It was 10+ years ago, the EU declared one standard be used, so the UK would have adopted it before it Brexited

It should be pointed out that Tesla vehicles in the EU and UK are required to use CCS2, so unless he also imports a home NACS charger, he will need an adapter every time he charges.

I dearly miss the Ford Aerostar that I learned to drive on, but at the same time, as I consider kids of my own, a genuine question:

I love that green paint appears to be having a comeback, and I adore that they took the time to pair it with some tasteful touches of brown leather on the inside, but...

It’s wild to hear Citroen described as a budget brand when it seems to regularly pump out much more polished and nicer looking cars than most brands that you actually can get in the US. Even whatever’s in the pic looks like it could match Volvo

Are you getting a smaller tire or same outer diameter with a smaller wheel (aka more sidewall?

Instead, the new electric Pacifica will take design inspiration from the Halcyon concept it unveiled back in February.
