I’ve seen a few mentions of the MX-6 and MX-3, but to keep the Mazda train going, how about a forgotten 90s vehicle meant to herald the start of a forgotten brand?

Definitely forgotten, it was essentially the 2-door version of the contemporaneous Millenia

I will give you two:

I wonder how many people’s other cars are high SUVs that they simply slide over the edge of the seat bolster to get in and out of

Not just this car, but who do so many brands offer interesting styling and/or color on the outside but then only offer black/black/black interiors? It’s so dull, depressing, and cavelike, and lets down an otherwise interesting car by making the part you actually see most often look sad.

how do you pronounce “Renault?” Do you pronounce it “Ray-No,” ignoring the final “t”? Or do you pronounce it “Rain-alt,”

I’ve had several modern VWs, and other than the Golf family, they’re all meh. I bought a Mk7 GTI Autobahn so I thankfully don’t need to use the touch slider climate controls, but it’s still a bit too much car for what I need. After they killed the Golf and the Sportwagen, there’s no other reason for me to go to a VW

They take up the same amount of space as any 3-row mid-size crossover alternative (a Kia Carnival is just 6“ longer than a Telluride, a Toyota Sienna is 7" longer than Highlander, Honda Odyssey is 5" longer than Pilot), but since they ride lower, they’ll be even more of a utility than any SUV/CUV would for everyday

Yeah but Nintendo is at least still in gaming or entertainment - it’s not like Peugeot, which got its start making saws, then coffee grinders, then bicycles, then cars.

Surprised Chrysler the brand got a mention but Buick didn’t. Even Demuro decided to review one because no one else in the automotive world seems to know/care what they’re doing or where they’re supposed to fit in the GM hierarchy.

Isn’t the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV one of the last cars in the US to use CHAdeMO? That alone should disqualify it as a long-term family choice.

I have this on my GTI, and it’s awful. It regularly parks 12"+ away from the curb, which in many places will get you a nice big ticket. It’s easier just to do it yourself.

Value aside, I have no idea how anyone would pick the Z over the Supra.

God forbid customers actually get a great sales experience without having to deal with some salesperson or haggle over add-ons and markups.

Pew’s looked into how the public thinks about autonomous vehicles a few times, though not repeatedly with the same questions. While I expect the links will get messed up, these are verbatim quotes from the studies that you can search for:

“We’re not in the business of out-consoling Sony or out-consoling Nintendo.”

Not to wade into the main topic of the fandom losing its shit, but this quote stood out as weird. Why get into the console business if you weren’t trying to take out-compete the other players for dollars or at least marketshare?

Thinner seats mean more legroom — or extra cabin room to cram into an additional row

I mean, who would have expected an expensive upmarket, range-topping VW sedan would flop in the US? It’s not like it’s happened before.

See, to me that just means these people were driving horribly low-powered cars before. Something like a VW Golf with 200ftlb under 1800rpm is a fantastic car for most everyday driving.

How much does it feel like a GM-spec rental car vs. a Honda inside?
