It's OK. Your masculinity is secure, no matter what that virtual child says about you.

Except for those orphanage kids. Most people in the world, when I murder entire covens of vampires (or whatever) just pay me condescending amounts of money. But those kids? I kill one measly old lady and they fuckin' CHEER for me, like a hero deserves.

This series has really gone downhill since Cormac McCarthy stepped down as head writer.

You completely miss the point. I'm going to assume that you actually have the appropriate level of reading comprehension, and that you're missing the point willfully.

Thanks, as always, for some context and detail.

He's talking about how Valve won't let people release beta software through their Steam service, which is how Terraria is distributed.

I agree very much in principle, but weeding out such responses can be onerous - and possibly dubious! It's not too difficult to imagine a situation in which, by gathering a larger sample, you're just gathering more bad data. Better to have a good, accurate survey to begin with.

I definitely think that the stereotype is inaccurate, and people should by all means combat it.

I looked too, and couldn't find anything about it. Alas. :)

Most statisticians argue that, for a variety of reasons, a viable sample size for a population of 20,000 isn't much different than for a population of anything over 20,000.

Yes.

"...lawyers always refer to themselves as attorneys which is why i doubt that person is a lawyer."

"it could be that the less happy women have less free time, for both sex and gaming."

By what metric is a sample size of 2000 too small?

I'm not sure I agree for myself, but this seems like a great viewpoint!

If there's anything that doesn't end my continued desire for reason and substance, it's inanity and shallowness.

It's all on the test server already! Rejoice, friends!

I don't know what's up with that. Every corporation I've been involved with has been extremely friendly. Sometimes I'll just sit in station and chat with folks. So social is the game that my girlfriend mocks me and calls the game "spaceship chatroom."
