Ugh, shorts.  If I'm gonna go to the trouble of shaving my legs, I'm wearing something that looks good on me.

A related question, why is it ok for the AV Club to post any non-Hulu clips?  Is that not a violation of copyright?  I mean, I appreciate it personally, but that's got to be illegal…or at least against journalistic ethics somehow?

I remember reading this somewhere - being a nerd is not about the things you like, but about how you like those things.  You can be a nerd about comics, but you can also be a nerd about sports or beer or cars.  The whole concept of "fantasy football" is honestly the nerdiest pursuit I've ever encountered.

Absolutely.  Like, I just plain do not like interacting with people for any reason, but I do it in order to function as a member of society.  My autistic cousin, on the other hand, can only talk about appliances.  He literally cannot have a conversation unless it's about refrigerator components.  I've known him his

Is it funny that I Love Lucy originally aired on CBS?  Like, 60 years later NBC has finally come up with an answer to I Love Lucy, and it's Jessica Simpson.

As someone who has idolized Lucille Ball since the third grade, this quote is short-circuiting my brain right now.  Just what the actual fuck.

Why, exactly, are you looking for groundbreaking comedy at a network-televised Hollywood awards show?  Amy and Tina were amusing hosts, and certainly a much better fit than Gervais with his sweaty, awkward attempts at relevance.  Actually I thought they got in a good dig at him, mentioning that his faux-"edgy" act

Am I the only one who really likes Sir Anthony?  He just always seems so confused by all the operatic goings-on at Downton.  It's like he needs everyone to tell him what to do because he can't be bothered to figure any of these people out.

I'm kind of really hoping he turns out to have been a murderer the whole time.

Agreed, that seemed like a manufactured conflict to me.  I mean…who the hell does that?  NO ONE does that.  I felt the same way about the chauffeur tonight, who seemed to be doing everything in his power to estrange himself and Sybil from her family.  Again, no one does this.  All their problems can be solved if they

I never would have expected someone to make a remake of Tabu, but here it is.  This film has been on my must-see list ever since I watched this countdown: http://vimeo.com/55071466
It makes everything look fantastic.

Whenever I try to remember that song, I only come up with the Chinese karaoke version from Sneakers.
