I do like Method acting when it's done well, and thoughtfully - Cassavetes' films being the gold standard I think.  But you're right, there's a fine line with it, and I think Brando juuuust crosses that line.

Pam Grier is not a woman, but a goddess.  Unfair to compare her to mere mortals.

Now that you mention it, I like all of those films a lot more than A Streetcar Named Desire.  Maybe it just hasn't aged well.

It's like getting a good night's sleep, except you wake up on a bed of money!!  Everybody wins!!
