I do like Method acting when it's done well, and thoughtfully - Cassavetes' films being the gold standard I think. But you're right, there's a fine line with it, and I think Brando juuuust crosses that line.

Now that you mention it, I like all of those films a lot more than A Streetcar Named Desire. Maybe it just hasn't aged well.
