Interesting take, but many professional sports athletes are of the same age and younger and are expected to uphold to these values as well. Citing hockey for example ( I live in Canadaland, it’s what I know), many of the athletes will wear full shirt and tie ( I believe it’s even part of the bargaining agreement) and

Jesus Christ, it look likes his signature is a result of putting “curly font” in Google.

Very well said. This stream has been amazing, pretty much watched it start to finish yesterday. The low-key venue, the banter, the shit-talking, the nostalgia and hearing honest down to earth commentary (the good and the bad) on high level SC has been somewhat therapeutic.

A lot of the frustrations of growing older and

Great Article, And I find myself in a familiar boat, albeit a bit more extreme really, most of the games I actively play would be considered “hardcore” military games bordering on simulations of real world operations.

I grew up in a family that pretty much all served in the military in various branches, and even

Guild Wars 2 were the glory days? Maybe the first Guild Wars...

Well damn, I guess Blizzard getting kicked out of OWL then...

I fucking love that this is an option, always joke about stuff like this in games/movies, glad to see it actually come to fruition ( I was also not aware of FC4 doing this).

we did D&D on graph paper.

oh come on, those are not mod packs.... people are buying those for the plat, boosters and skins. yeah, they include mods in them, but I’d hardly call it predatory considering you can only purchase a pack once through Steam.

PvP in Warframe uses an entire different modset, limited weapons and frames (for balance), so has nothing to do with any of the normal loots drops.

You really don’t need to explain how mods work to me, I actively still play the game.

If you are at a point you can afford to upgrade your mods to that point, you most likely have gotten all those mods.

How is waiting on mod drops any different than any other loot based game? (diablo, destiny, etc. I never did get a

As far as I know there aren’t any frame specific mods in normal drop tables, or may have been patched out in the last couple years. The only mods that are frame/weapon specific are usually behind the faction rewards and available through in game XP/currency/shekkels.

Yes, I’ll agree there are mod packs available for

an AI that sits on a hill camping doesn’t seem like something that amazing.

the drop rate on those mods is crazy, every session I play, I end up with like 20+ of each. Hell, you can get like 5 of them in one mission at times.

Kubrows are very easy to get though.

I like CCGs, but Gwent just never did it for me.

Crazy Ol Arnheim is trying to act like a tough guy. Actually, he is weak, both mentally and physically, and yet he threatens me, for the second time, with physical assault. He doesn’t know me, but he would go down fast and hard, crying all the way. Don’t threaten people Arnheim!

hells yes they are, that and numbchuck skills.
