The way Kinja works is that if an article writer doesn’t like you they can basically keep your comments from appearing by keeping them in “pending” so people have to extra special bonus click to make them appear. This also happens if they don’t care, if they don’t click “approve” because they don’t care about an

Nope. Welcome to Kinja.

Yeah, that’s what’s making me sad right now. I assumed they’d just shove Kinja into the good looking shell of the AV Club, not transform it into a full-on Gawker site. Sigh.

Yep, noticed that.

Testing

No. Firstly because you’re playing a fighter, and secondly because you’re playing a fighter with less than 18 STR.

It took me a long damn time to figure out that the patches that extended into nothing in Super Mario RPG (SNES) were actually the entrances to new areas.

Remember when people thought that Trump's string of less idiotic tweets meant that maybe someone was more carefully managing his message? How maybe he'd stop acting like a screaming ninny?

All accounts are that the exploit was perfectly legal. In fighting game tournaments and things like this it’s very much a case of “there’s no rule against it” being the guiding principle. Others have given a more informed explanation (Credit to GregLucM and RevengencerAlf), but the tournament didn’t call it out so

I knew it had to be this guy. This guy has also beaten Souls games with a DJ Hero controller, a Donkey Konga bongos controller, and, my favorite, a bunch of bananas.

That unit is the BurglaryDog from the mecha series VOTOMs Shining Heresy. I believe the idea of crashing someone into a cliff and shooting them is right out of that series.

No Man’s Sky even in it’s hype form was always billed as a Sandbox, akin to Minecraft or any number of other games where the idea is you build your own fun.

Good for you for enjoying it. The problem is that a lot of people who played it and pre-ordered it and supported it were sold on some aspect of the game that didn’t actually exist. You talk about enjoying it post-hype, but the problem is that the hype turned No Man’s Sky into an unenjoyable and quite frankly toxic

Super Robot Wars Z3. That’s the tail end of the Burglarydog’s strongest attack. The pistol execution only plays if you land a killing blow with the Burglarydog’s final attack, otherwise it just drives by the target and leaves them to live another day.

No mention of Chirico Cuvie’s Armor Magnum?

I could honestly see No Man’s Sky becoming a sleeper, word of mouth style success. Eventually.

You’re not wrong, about the story. It was incredibly undercooked and lamely told but it wasn’t wrong.

And then constantly tells US we're interpreting Kinja from the wrong direction and we should try it because we just don't understand.

Can you tell us what one of those feature changes was?

Seconding this. This is a question that cuts STRAIGHT through the spin. It's a question that demands a solid, actual, verifiable answer answer. "How has Kinja improved for end users since Univision purchased it?" is a direct question that's much, much harder to spin.
