Death Chains seems to eat my ammo refill procs when it kills an enemy instead of my bullets so I avoid it now, but yes it does do a ton of damage. I’m lucky enough to have Fortress unlocked on my Technomancer and that is currently the sauce that I put on everything.  For a tier 2, Bone Shrapnel isn’t bad  if you want

Why not just infinite revives and a short respawn timer and/or run back, Expeditions are timed anyway and any loss of time is already a punishment, but you can eventually slog your way through if you want to and still get a little something at the end. Sort of like how Mythic Plus works in WoW, this is pretty much the

Just this morning I risked it all and did a multiplayer expedition, tier 14, first one since the nerfs. Instead of getting carried by a pyromancer or technomancer, to my delight I was carried to gold by a devastator this time. The DPS meters in this game are a bit disingenuous though, since you have a ton of small

I just choose to give them the benefit of the doubt, that’s all. I don’t think this is a situation like Anthem or Cyberpunk where the final game isn’t what people imagined it to be, they were careful to manage expectations there and I do think it is a pretty good game, but I have a hard time believing they intended to

This is a disaster level scenario and I feel bad for everybody involved. I never was gonna spend much time in the “endgame” anyway because the story gave me my fill, but in all my years playing looters, I’ve never had to even worry about this.

I really ended up enjoying loot-shooting as a vehicle to get you through a 30 hour campaign instead of an endless carrot on a stick.  A lot of the perks you get are meaningful and you get to do a lot of off the cuff theorycrafting as you level, maybe changing up your build when you get a new item that’s interesting.

The story is so bad, I loved every second of it.

Make no mistake, it is not just streamers clearing all the way up to Challenge Tier 15 in week one. I was (un)lucky enough to roll Technomancer and in just random PUG groups was able to climb all the way up to tier 15 with almost no issue thanks to Blighted Rounds annihilating everything. This is even taking into

Eventually if you decide to bump up the difficulty you may find yourself relying on the Blighted Rounds skill which is just a massive damage increase for your main weapon, which makes it feel even more traditional of a shooter.

I’ve been doing Technomancer 100% of the way, but I do now find myself looking over the fence to see Tricksters swinging energy blades, Pyromancers lighting shit on fire, and Devastators crashing into everything and I’m starting to see some greener grass over there.

This game would have been generic circa 2008 but now it’s more like, they really just don’t make them like this anymore.

I had a decent play session this evening but now I’m starting to get the disconnect like everyone else. Oh well, what are you gonna do. I for one refuse to get *that* mad over any video game.

As of right now they took the servers down for everybody to reset everything. Bold move to say the least, but if it works it works. I do kind of see this particular case as being unanticipated demand to some extent. I slept on this game at first as I’m sure most people would if all they got was the elevator pitch and

Well neither was Anthem, as it turned out.

I’m looking forward to Outriders. Just like I looked forward to Destiny, The Division, Anthem and the Avengers... because I enjoyed all of those games! Not afraid to admit that I like me a little bit of mindless “numbers go up” grind type games. Even the worse ones are still pretty good to me. I’m most looking forward

It’ll probably just keep me playing for a week or two but honestly, that’s all I ask from this game.

I like a good season pass, it is nice to have a temporary endpoint in these games so I know when to go play something else for awhile.

I took a break from playing Mankind Divided and the game was so samey for me that I accidentally reloaded an old save and played hours of the game before I finally realized I got the point I was previously at (the end of the game). I think the Deus Ex games are just a taste I never acquired. The second one in

It really depends.  When people are happy with a game they don't talk about it nearly as much as when they're unhappy with it.  So really all you see is everyone's grievances non-stop which can be draining.  And when devs fix something for one group of players another group takes their place.  Honestly a loot shooter

Yeah this makes me a little sad knowing that it’s going to play like Divinity and not BG 1 and 2.  I gave both Divinity 1 and 2 several chances but the hard stop turn based system is just too slow for me.
