I also have that book! My favorite so far has to be the bet it all on black garlic burger, we’ve made about a dozen different recipes or so from it so far.

Xenoblade Chronicles: DE is my GOTY so far because it fixes every issue I had with the previous versions, and it was already one of my all time favorites. It feels like this version was specifically made to address all my personal issues with the original, which is a rare feeling.

After the encounter, at least in my playthrough, I remember Abby saying something along the lines of “oh they’d never believe me if I told them” as a way to preempt what you’re talking about in the last paragraph. Also, I was surprised to encounter a boss fight at all. It was kind of a nice surprise (as nice as

It can be rough, best thing is to just stop playing when it no longer excites you and then just start playing again when you feel like it.  Sounds easy but it can be incredibly hard with all the limited time stuff in the game.  Once you start missing out on things and the world doesn’t suddenly end it puts things in

And just like that, everybody loves Destiny again.  What a good trickle of content we’ve gotten these past few weeks.

Ah, Paper Mario, the only series I can think of that completely reinvents itself every game. I enjoyed pretty much every game in the series except Sticker Star, although if that game wasn’t on a strictly handheld system I may have even enjoyed that one too.

I kind of want to play a cut that does days 1, 2, and 3 in full chronological order, swapping between Ellie and Abby for each chapter. I understand why they did Ellie’s journey first and then Abby’s, but towards the end of Ellie’s journey is where things get a little repetitive and for some people, too violent.

Horizon Zero Dawn actually shook me way more than TLOU2 ever did. I know audio logs are a simple video game trope, but man were they really really good in that game.  I did have to step away from that game a couple of times to regain my composure after listening to some of them.

Yeah, I didn’t walk away from the game literally thinking it was telling me that killing tons of people is bad, because that is a lesson that I (and hopefully most others) don’t need to learn.

Absolutely not.  I like it on mine but my Mexican wife thinks it’s kind of weird.  Save the shredded cheese for tacos.

I think it’s about time they took their time and rethought some things for a new release. As much as I like the Tales games, the last few that came out just felt serialized (in a bad way) and even though they’re still a comfort food RPG for me they started getting a little stale.

So, Inception, eh?  Can't think of a better movie to show on a screen within another screen.

Yeah I wish they were a little more up front about the RPG mechanics too but even when this was announced it seemed pretty obvious to me. I don’t mind the genre, I love me some Destiny and Division. Don’t even have a huge problem with regular guys taking a ton of bullets to kill in the Division, but watching Thor

Just finished my playthrough and I enjoyed it immensely. Your mileage will vary greatly, I think players will take a lot of their own personal experience and see it reflected in both good and bad ways. The things you hate about video games you will probably hate a lot in this game, and vice versa. If you have strong

Lowest difficulty setting, enable no weapon sway, invisible while prone, and the colorblind mode enabled (set to left click instead of swipe) and I thoroughly enjoyed my first playthrough. Was able to mostly go through at what I thought was a decent pace but it still took me over 30 hours since I was crawling

I’m not against sunsetting as a concept but in practice it’s really just super unwieldly right now. I kind of wish they would cut everything off at the release of an expansion so I don’t have to make the judgement call of do I want to keep this thing with a 1310 power cap or that other thing at a 1360 cap because it

This is how I’ve been playing since it started.  Play till I get bored, if I get something cool that’s great, if not then whatever.

Already a thing, this team has a little bit of a reputation for playing well in the regular season and choking in the playoffs. Which I guess is essential for a New York franchise to begin with.

I also kinda dig it but I’m going to miss the sharp angles from my original PS4.  My gut reaction was “I like it” during the reveal, but that was before the internet told me to hate it.  Ultimately it doesn’t matter as long as it works.

Aw shit, here we go again.
