They could definitely handle it better. I wonder if they would be able to store your best roll of a weapon to recall later on once you get a version that has an increased light cap. That way they can rotate stuff in and out to change the meta but not punish the people who worked hard to get their perfect roll.

Sunsetting I think is ultimately necessary, but with infusion the Genie has been out of the bottle and I don’t blame anybody who is pissed about re-farming their god rolls that they thought were going to last forever. I don’t play Destiny like that, I know it’s a bit odd for me to not care so much about loot in a

Yeah it’s kind of funny how standards change over time, and the shit we put up with and even liked one year, ends up looking like poor or lazy game design a couple years down the line.

Jump in at any time but be aware that there will be items and content that you will miss out on, and have already missed out on. If you’re a completionist type this game is very unforgiving, but if you just want to shoot bad guys and have a persistent, growing, avatar over the course of several years, you could do way

I always found it weird that this game was received so poorly after Dragon Age Inquisition got such positive press when it came out. They both seemed like pretty much exactly the same thing, a semi-decent story with passing connections to the games that came before, a handful of expansive locales, and a whole bunch of

It was explained by a cutscene at the beginning of the season, basically it was intentionally abandoned by the Cabal and aimed at Earth as a last ditch effort.

It was all right. I don’t play Fortnite so I don’t often get to see live stuff like this. It took way too long for someone like me who showed up an hour early, but the explosion and aftermath was pretty neat.  Makes me think they were kind of testing out this tech for more stuff like this in the future, which I am

Some of the imagery and themes are consistent with the old games, but being that Xenogears was published by Square and Xenosaga by Namco, there are no official connections.  Although for Xenoblade Chronicles 2 they did include some Xenosaga characters as non-canon optional characters, which was actually pretty cool.

This version is EXCELLENT. Xenoblade was already one of my favorite games, but the quest/UI improvements in this version have probably elevated it to my absolute favorite of all time. Yes there are a lot of side quests, but at least you can tell the filler ones by their name (Monster quest 1, 2, etc.), and the others

On the one hand the Xenoblade games’ combat systems and UI are intimidating at best, and plain indecipherable at worst, at least at the start. On the other hand, you are constantly learning even after hours of play. It was only at about 60-80 hours in for XC2 that I realized the top right corner of the screen showed

All of the lore cards are in the game now, and I still don’t read it.  Now I don’t want to have to log ON to Destiny just to read a bunch of text.

That might depend more on you than on Destiny. They did say they were going to try to dial back on the limited time stuff but that probably won’t be till later this year. For now, I have been purposefully taking long breaks and missing things, and slowly coming to terms that Destiny 2 is just a way bigger (and more

This sounds a lot to me like XC1 with some XC2 QoL adjustments, specifically the sidequests.  Most of the issues I had with XC1 (still one of my favorite games of all time) was not being able to keep track of sidequests or even know how to do them.  I know XC2 also had some issues in this regard but was much better.

Was hoping dearly for the improvements to side quest UI/interface, and it looks like this game will deliver. The lack of side quest direction in XC1 as opposed to XC2 was the difference between me not doing any side quests at all in XC1 and pretty much 100%ing XC2 side quests. So I’m really excited, it sounds like I

I burned out during the second season (the one with Saint-14) and stopped playing for awhile. When Stadia became free I tried some Destiny for this season, was greeted with an awesome cutscene and some decent intro quest objectives. A little grindy but it’s cool, I don’t mind farming hive kills or whatever they had

Well, I’m still not certain about how I feel about this ending. The possibility of saving Aerith is kind of outweighing all the negative possibilities in my head. That being said, other than Zack implied as being alive, most of the story pretty much ended up where it was in the original game, so they could always just

Good, this is exactly what I'm looking for in an easy mode.  There are so many games out there I want to experience, but very few I actually care to master.

Fortunately she does get where I’m coming from when it comes to gaming, she just doesn’t venture out to try new games herself very often. She is mostly content just watching me play (she loves watching me play Metal Gear Solid and Uncharted), but I am always trying to nudge her towards trying something new.

Congrats! I had considered getting a switch lite to start my own island but it would probably be too much work for me to do all the upgrades on my own anyway.  Having her take the lead on something has been a great change of pace.

Like many others this is my first Animal Crossing game, bought out of hype and also a little bit of what I’m going to call quarantine curiosity. I let my wife play first not knowing anything about the multiplayer and how there is only one island per Switch, and you know what, it turned out to be the best decision
