... are you gaming in 4k? Otherwise, it’s pointless. Even top, top, top of the line rigs can barely handle 4k gaming at this point. Monitors over 1080p, by and large, have worse lag, as well (haven’t seen any 1440 or 4k monitors with less than 4ms). If you’re only using it for gaming, don’t bother with a 4k.

4k only requires about 25mbps. Unless you’re out in the boonies, you should be able to handle that.
