Here is what I don't understand from people, like yourself, who advocate spanking... You state that it should not be painful or leave any lasting mark and yet you also claim that spanking will teach children a lesson.

I was just in a Facebook argument about this topic on my personal account the other day when I posted an article and stated that I can't believe that in 2012 people still believe this approach to child rearing is acceptable.

I also have a "tramp stamp" that I got when living in another country at age 19. Back in the day, I was a born again Christian and decided that my first tattoo would be a combination of a cross and Jesus fish symbol. I designed it myself and was super proud once it was done.

Oh my god, I made the mistake of clicking on the category "pets". There is a baby elephant, a cat hugging a kitten, and a freaking rat sleeping with a rat sized teddy bear.

I think this is facinating that young women are now ending their sentences on a lower register instead of a higher one. Generally, ones voice should drop when ending a sentence yet, young women have been plagued with raising their voice at the end. Think 90's Valley Girl speak.

Well Bachmann, my mother has one up on you. When I was growing up, my fundamentalist baptist mother told me and my three sisters that we weren't allowed to date... no boys, ever. For awhile she even had me convinced that I wasn't allowed to date until i was 25! (How she planned to enforce this rule, I'm not sure).

This is... bizarre. I hadn't really thought of the competition between women bleeding over into a grown woman feeling competitive with a 9 year old girl. This seems so delusional to me.

I was told that sweat and body oils, if left in the fabric, assists in degrading it and stretching it out. I have found that bras keep their shape and size longer by hand washing them after a couple of wears.

Since I started paying 150+ dollars for my F-cup bras I have been washing them in the sink after 2 maybe 3 washes and hanging them up to dry.

I think if men need to feel more responsible to their partner and children than maybe they should learn about respect, equality, shared experiences, and partnership instead of symbolic obligation attached to feelings of property and ownership.

Well, now I know what I'll be doing with my MA at the end. At least I'll be entertaining myself ;-)

It was an edited down version that played during the credits. I know this because I watched it something like 20 times having worked projection at a small theater where we played Bridesmaids for several weeks. That being said, this movie never got old. I love it so much!
