A portion of this was in the credits at the end of the movie. It played pretty early on in the credits too... which is nice when you work projection in a small theater and would really prefer people to leave so you can clean up for the next show. Just sayin'.

I agree with everything you said. I am doing a bit of research for my own blog post about The Help and now all I want to do is use your comment! I still haven't watched the movie but I finished the book and liked it. Are there problem? Of course. There are problems with everything but I think The Help is a great tool

I have only just started The Help and am about a third of the way through. I started reading with caution and have slowly settled into enjoying it. I was cautious because going into it I thought it was a book about a white woman coming to the rescue of black women. Now, I haven't finished it but so far I think this

Let me just put it this way, my mother made my sisters and I fast forward through the villain's song in Disney movies. I had no idea what Scar sang until well into my 20's. #GrowingUpBaptist

I was wondering if anyone has some suggestions for books that are more "chick lit" instead of romance or erotica that have queer themes or characters. Most chick lit that I have come across deal with straight women and any queer element is the womens fashion guru gay bff.

I'm sorry to hear that your friendship has suffered since your friend has become engaged. Sometimes this happens and I'm not really sure what to do it. I am married and my partner and I have decided to set certain times aside for us so that we always know that we make each other a priority. But what that also means

I just wanted to say that I like your comment about chick lit. I think a lot of people have the false notion that chick lit is about finding a man and being fulfilled through a relationship. As much as that maybe a component of the story, they usually have more to do with friendships and discovering the self...which

See, I thought your Bradgelina word problem was going to go a little more like: "If Brad Pitt leaves LA at 12:52 AM in a plane going east at 550 miles per hour and Angelina Jolie leaves Beijing at 9:00 PM in a plane going west at 520 miles per hour, how many tissues has Jennifer Aniston use to sop up her tears of

I think this means the Negaverse is on it's way.

After looking at the Bieber/Gomez pics I'm afraid that I have been placed on some kind of list.

The other day my friend told me she was coming over with an "extremely practical" present. She showed up with this Cosmo and "cock rings" aka scrunchies.

Ok, I found another site with the video and all is right in my world.

I want to see this soooo bad... but it's blocked in my country! what the eff?

I was all on board for the Ke$ha hate until I actually sat down and watched several of her videos and realized how silly/fun/out there they are. I think it's pretty clear that she doesn't take herself or the music industry seriously and I would argue that she is rather feminist.

Although I agree with you that weight loss is not inherently bad I do think magazines like these are not about empowering people...they are about making money...and making money is done by creating a generic image of "woman" that is unstable and unhappy.

Unless I'm missing something (which, I feel I'm missing a lot with this new layout), the only comments showing up right now in groupthink are star comments. There is no options to "see all".

I am sad that I can't post in groupthink because I don't have a star... It's like I don't even exist...It's like I'm not even real.... It's like I'm yelling directly into someones face but they can't see or hear me!

I think ultimatums are about wielding power over your significant other and therefore are bad news.
