There was a stretch of a few months where I could only fall asleep to the SlowTV channel on Pluto. I was pretty anxious at the time. The sound of a train rolling down track was so soothing it put me out in minutes.

I finally watched “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” on YouTube and was thoroughly underwhelmed. I don’t get the hype.

So, none of the links worked. The watch live page doesn’t do anything. You can catch replays on the Extreme E page.

It looks like Extreme E has a YouTube channel with live streams:

This Sunday, I will be watching the Super Bowl with my father for the first time in literally forever. We’ve watched a lot of football together, but almost all of it has been SEC games.

I know a few Ohio State fans who would be down for the letter “M” to be permanently banned.

One of my colleagues has that on a t-shirt. It’s completely ironic.

I’ve seen headlines with his name in it, and just ignored them because I had no idea who he is. Now I know and just don’t care who he is.

It’s  been a long time since I’ve read an article here and thought, “That’s a good idea.”

Mint is a great Linux distro for people moving over from Windows. I use it myself. It just works.

Well, this is the time that Kinja and I part ways. I would really like to recommend the reply by Racj82, but I can’t get to it. I can’t get to the comment from notifications, and when I click “Show Pending” my comment disappears too.

You know, man, there’s like an obvious answer. Straight from a famous Zen master.

Thanks for the recommendation.

I find more interesting things to watch on Tubi than Netflix. I don’t know if that says more about me or Netflix.

You are not mistaken. I was singing “Kill the Wabbit!” that entire scene.

Loki’s purpose is to be a heel...

Since I wrote that post before I had my coffee and watched the episode again, I would amend my statement to say what make a Loki a Loki according to the TVA is they believe they deserve to be alone. That may not have been the cause of the nexus event (I’m starting to change my theory on that), but it was the core

If you are watching Loki hoping for the Phase 4 defining event or looking for an innovative story, then you will be disappointed. If you watched The Matrix and The Wizard of Oz, then none of the story beats should be surprising.

The most interesting idea in “The Nexus Event” comes right at the beginning, as Loki tries to comfort Sylvie as asteroids hurtle towards them: The thing that makes a Loki a Loki isn’t a godly sense of entitlement or even a trickster’s mischievous, it’s that they always manage to survive, no matter how many times

Worrying about the 0-60 times of a pickup is like worrying about the towing capacity of a Mustang.
