I avoided the energy sector. I didn’t want to profit on global warming.

I went to a investment representative at a large bank a couple of months ago. My wife and I were looking to start a 529 plan. The representative told us to wait until after the election. As he put it, “If Trump doesn’t get reelected, the markets will tank.” My BSC (blood schadenfreude content) is sky high right now.
I’m going to preface my critique by saying Donald Trump is one of the worst Americans in history and I hate him with the white-hot intensity of 100 suns.
My thought is that most people who voted for Trump in 2016 will do so again. (The only exceptions will be the protest votes against Clinton.) What will put Biden in the White House will be everyone who voted for Clinton plus some people who sat out in 2016.
He’s probably actually listening to his advisers for a change.
Don’t forget about the viability requirements. There is a nontrivial chance that Sanders won’t get any delegates from Florida.
It’s not in my town yet, but it is a couple of towns over.
And failing at taking care of the stock market.
A majority will get you witnesses, but not removal. Every senator knows what Trump did was impeachable. The Republicans just refuse to admit it.
The relevant section of the U.S. Constitution is below. It takes 2/3 of 100 senators (67) to remove anyone from office.
Senate removal requires 67 senators. The only option to remove Trump is in the November election.
I find that 5 to 7 years for recovery works best.
“It’s a shame Mike Bloomberg can buy his way into the debate. But at least now primary voters curious about how each candidate will take on Donald Trump can get a live demonstration of how we each take on an egomaniac billionaire.” Maybe it’s time for less unity, and more fighting.
Maybe G/O Media should splinter off something from an existing blog.
Do you mean “in this fight” against the “centrist Democrats?” I think about 75% of the Democrats don’t see this as a fight against each other.
Warren is my favorite candidate too. However, she is not the right person for this time. I’m glad Warren has a plan for everything, but it won’t mean a damn if Grand Inquisitor William Barr locks her up in January.
538 was pretty accurate in 2016. The problem is that most people don’t understand how probability and statistics works. At least that keeps me employed as a math instructor.
My read is that the empty space is already there and Bloomberg paid for it last week.
Mathman is still the greatest math video game.
Every week, this site has an article on how to make Facebook less miserable. The solution is obvious. #DeleteFacebook
