Yeah, you’re right. ISO doesn’t affect the light entering the lens, only how sensitive that sensor is to that light.

ISO certainly affects exposure, so how could it not be factored in? Granted, once it’s set, you don’t really need to adjust it much (daylight is always changing)

You’ve explained well for the newbies, although I’m not sure I would consider the moon “super bright”

Also, maybe stop talking about how much you suck? Your photos are properly exposed, and you’re probably going to discourage future photographers if they see your photos and think “well, if THESE are considering…
