That's pretty cool. My personal favorite method of measuring fitness:
Today I can do: 1 pull-up, 1 push-up, 1 sit-up, run 1 mile at 6 min
Tomorrow: 2 pull-ups, 2 push-ups, 2 sit-ups, run 1 mile at 5 min
Next day: I can do a back-flip
Day after: I can do handstand push-ups
Day after: I can jump from one building to another

I often use pants to gauge progress, too. I'm a muscular lass, so my weight declines at a much slower rate than my body fat percentage does. Any kind of form-fitting clothing is a good way to measure progress without relying too heavily on numbers. Plus I actually find it more motivating to see pants getting closer

This is awesome. Props for being mindful, aware of how you react, and figuring out a clever method to solving for this!

I worked in the produce industry for 7 years, and I can concur. Anything with the word 'organic' on the box is absolutely not worth the money, and is nothing more than marketing jargon.

Organic fruits and veggies - don't buy anywhere. Total ripoff.

Except that it doesn't work with people who have small mouths. I end up with water all over my face and my boobs. Sucky.

Meanwhile Gawker's article on the front page is something about 'the best dicks of 2014' . Yea, I'll take Vox with the occasional error correction, thanks.

Gawker... Gawker c'mon.

Correction: While we stated above that Vox needs our help, we now realize that we actually can learn a lot from Vox about how to properly make corrections, considering we have made more mistakes in the past year and only issued corrections twice.

Multiple walls with high evasion!

Yeah I've replayed breath of fire a few times on emulator and the encounter rate is crazy, feels like every few steps. My solution is auto battle and emulator fast forward! It's really bizarre that some of my clearest memories of the game are the map music playing double time after a battle... loved that game! Didn't

We call that the "carpenter dummy way." Works every time, but may not be as elegant as punching it through your handheld and getting fractions of a mm. (This is where the book learning and experience learning come into conflict.)

In general uilding jigs like that takes just a few minutes and they save a ton of time and frustration. Unfortunately when laying out a wall the 14.5" will not be correct for the first and last studs on the wall.

I think you might have lazy confused with efficient. A template to avoid repeat measurements seems pretty smart.

most of the world uses metric system. It's not the devil and works just fine. However converting would be a nightmare. Adjusting building codes to say use 40cm and adjusting sizes of sheet rock and studs and all the other stuff.

This is a V6. Plenty of reason to trade it in.

To be fair, Jeff aged a ton for the decades trapped in cyberspace

It shows just how masterfully they handled that it that despite the fact that you *KNEW* SHODAN was in the game, it was still a complete surprise when the reveal came.
