most of the world uses metric system. It's not the devil and works just fine. However converting would be a nightmare. Adjusting building codes to say use 40cm and adjusting sizes of sheet rock and studs and all the other stuff.

To be fair, Jeff aged a ton for the decades trapped in cyberspace
It shows just how masterfully they handled that it that despite the fact that you *KNEW* SHODAN was in the game, it was still a complete surprise when the reveal came.
Forget the busted remake. Forget the cash-hungry mobile games. The best SimCity Maxis ever made is still available, and as of now it's a free download on EA's Origin store.
When you look at anything without context, everything looks ridiculous. Context is everything, after all.
This book is AMAZING. It's a must-have if you're a Doom fan, but if you're interested in videogames in the 90s and game developing, you owe yourself to read Masters of Doom. It'd make a brilliant film that has nothing on The Social Network.
"there's some weird Ubisoft-generic-open-world-ness that is out of place in a racing game."
I wasn't specific which was my mistake. I meant without further delays and on time in November. I'm very happy they delayed DA:I accordingly (game has some issues as is but nothing on Ubisofts level) but would have been annoyed without a Fantasy RPG to play if they delayed it again, not that TW3 has been postponed.
TW3 has been delayed multiple times now. I was meaning that DAI released in November without further delay or I'd have been bothered with nothing to play concerning Fantasy RPGs. Sorry if I was specific :)
Is anyone surprised? CD Projekt Red is known for being very pro-consumer. If they realized they needed extra time for polish and bug squashing, they'll take it. They have a reputation to protect, unlike other game companies who just push out crap for the sake of sales and hope and plead with customers to not abandon…
Twould be a very interesting concept - if they managed to make the game branch at that moment, and the end played out differently because she was still alive.
That'd be even more mind-blowing than finally seeing an HD remake.
Don't kid yourself, it would be $14.99 on the App Store.
Somehow this is a better announcement.
"Attack while it's tail is up"
You'd think they'd at least put some effort into updating the translation, if for no other reason so Cloud doesn't tell a whole new generation of players to attack the Guard Scorpion while its tail is up.
