I started a replay a little while ago. It looks terrible on my TV, so I popped the disc into my PC. Running @ 1080p the graphics look just like Blue Dragon, except with solid framerates.

That's quite the watch ad!

That's Shinji Ikari.
Shinji Aramaki is...I don't know who Shinji Aramaki is.

I grew up with one of these on the floor. When it died, my parents just put the new TV on it instead of buying a TV stand.

Just finished reading everything Foundation, starting now on re-reading the robot series, and R.Daneel's series.

Star Wars wouldn't have the following it does today without those novels. They took what was relatively bare bones backstory, and made it into a sweeping, continuous universe. One that Lucas even drew reference from. It's sad to see it go.

I actually had a post of Dooku V Obi-Wan where he slides it down and slices Obi-Wan's arm, but it's been removed for some reason.

When Disney bought LucasArts at the beginning of the year, they said the EU was under consideration. Then in April they said the EU will be published under "Star Wars Legends" so people can still buy it, but they're effectively dumping everything else.

I was so disappointed with that film. I can't take credit for the clip though, someone linked it on my facebook.

Just this once, around 1:13. I would agree with you though, they're usually stuck together.

No Thrawn, no KOTOR/Reven, no Star Killer, no Rogue Squadron books, no nothing.

They call everything that comprised of the EU "Star Wars Legends" now.

Click on the "Canon" tab on that link. Disney has washed out the EU, the only canonical things are the first six films and the CGI Clone Wars TV show and film.

If someone slides their light saber down that, it's going to go right through the metal bits and take your hand off anyway. That style of cross guard wouldn't be very effective.

I thought that too. But they got rid of the EU, and these are 'new' X-Wings so...
Free licence to do whatever they want.

I think the love making scenes from the classic film Necromantik are probably some of the worst I've ever seen. I'm not going to link anything here about that film though.

I actually hadn't thought about that until it came up there. They snipe those tiny pod racers from a distance as they speed past. The idea that they couldn't hit the tracks on a Sand Crawler is laughable.

I started playing this, but when I couldn't kill the dude at the beginning even though I had a big ass knife and snuck right up on him, I just got mad and stopped playing. It's sure good to watch though.

That's a great edit! I love that they hype up the Stormtroopers, then for the rest of the movie we watch them fire randomly like wacky waving inflatable arm-flailing tube men.

There are so many great lines in this.

"I did not hit her! Oh, Hi Mark!"
